Awesome wellness, Non-existent Staff, Nice Location but Expensive for what you get
Reviewed By NowuriesI had a 2-night Groupon that included a private spa and a bottle of Prosecco. PROS: One of the nicest in-hotel guest wellness areas I have been to, and the location is good. Some parking at the hotel as well, so that is nice. Location is great--near trains, good hiking and great driving roads. Not load either. Also near a Wildgatter family park. Rooms were adequate. Breakfast was wonderful. Thankful they are dog friendly--our dog goes everywhere with us. CONS: Non-existent front desk staff and customer service was not great. There was a definite langauge barrier (my fault--I don't speak good German) but nonetheless, we still had issues. There was no one at the front desk, at any time during the mid-day or evening (only in the morning), and the sign says to find them in the restaurant, but the door was locked to the restaurant! We never got our prosecco as a result, we couldn't find out if any slippers or robes were available for the wellness, and there are no phones in the room so calling the front desk/restaurant wasn't possible either. When we were trying to set up our private spa, e-mails came many days after we sent the request, and when there, the times of the spa confused us. When we asked the staff to show us where it was, it was a huge inconvenience for them. Regarding the food: The set menu was good, but we were the first to sit down, and we were the last served... not pleased at all about that. When we asked about dessert (only 1 couple was left and all others had received their courses and desserts and left), they acted as though we were asking for something we should not have. Anyway, nice location, good food, adequate rooms, nice wellness. The staff need to step up their customer service a bit, language barrier or otherwise.

Reviewed By Jürgen SAllen positiven Bewertungen können wir nur zustimmen. Der Buchbergerhof und seine Betreiber sind in den höchsten Tönen zu loben, es gibt einfach keine Abstriche zu vermerken. Unterkunft sehr gut. Essen nichts überkanditeltes aber seeehr schmackhaft und reichlich. Sevice freundlich und familär. Wanderung mit Anton war eine Wucht. Danke nochmals hierfür. Wenn wir nochmals den Bayerischen Wald ansteuern, dann zu Stoibers!!!

Reviewed By diananachtmannAlso wir waren im Haus Fidelis und hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt die Vermieter waren super und sehr Gastfreundlich. Und die zimmer waren sehr sauber mit tollen Ausblick. Frühstück war auch klasse und aufjeden fall kommen wir wieder.

Reviewed By Philipp9803A very pleasant stay, the service is very nice and helpful, I will definitely stay here more than once. Amazing place for children - they will certainly not be bored during the stay. The hotel is located close to nature, it is quiet and peaceful.
