I called them May 18, 2022 to make a reservation for June 24,2022. The lady that answered was very polite and after explaining to her that I needed to stay for one night and that my birthday was the following day, she told me that they did have rooms for the night I requested but I needed to stay or at least pay for two nights. She suggested I send an email so that the director can decide since the website states that they would be flexible to specific needs. Well, not a chance. He did not concede. I either stay two nights or forget it. It is a real shame that some so called hoteliers no longer care about customer needs and only about their pockets. I am thankful that they are a minority group and that the vast majority, some as good or better do accept reservations for one night. When I travel I dislike being forced to do things and this includes pressing me to stay somewhere for two nights.

I stayed in Hotel Merit for 1 night. The people there were very nice. Breakfast didn't have a lot of variety but we managed ourselves. The people tried to help us as much as they can. We also had a bit of problem with the flushing in the toilet which they had straight away then fixed it for us. They gave us suggestions for restaurants and ways to go around cinque terre. Rooms were also fine, I would say to stay in the hotel for about 1-2 nights is fine. Also this one of the cheapest hotels we could find!!

Located in Framura, a few steps from the city center and just a 15-minute walk from the Mediterranean Sea, the Perla del Levante Hostel offers a sun terrace, simply furnished rooms with sea views and an Italian buffet breakfast served in the morning in the lounge breakfast or in the garden. The hostel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and a laundry service at an additional cost. The price varies from € 25.00 to € 120.00, depending on the chosen accommodation The Perla del Levante Hostel is a 30-minute drive from the Cinque Terre area and 12 km from Levanto.
I stayed 3 nights in a dorm and really enjoyed my stay. The hostel is spotlessly clean, family run, and in the most beautiful setting, perched up high overlooking the sea. The dorms are great, spacious with thoughtful touches like a wardrobe per bed, a little night light, a shelf with power point and a chair to dump some stuff on. The family make you feel welcome and special. The steps - lets talk about the steps. It will take you between 13 and 17 minutes to walk up to the hostel from the station. I did it 3 times (once with my backpack), and got the bus once. It’s fine! Everything on that part of the coast is up high. Plus the view is totally worth it. And think of the calories you burn! Only slight downside (and it’s not their fault) is that I didn’t make any friends here. The hostel, during my time there, seemed to attract an older crowd and some older couples. But I’m a lone wolf anyway and I made friends on trips to the Cinque terre.

Certainly off the beaten track as it takes you 20 min by car to get here from the sea, via very very small and dangerous roads! Great views from up there and along the road to get there. Very friendly run family restaurant! But the food is nothing to write home about. Best thing was the fish antipasti. The rest was less than average. Overcooked pasta ai frutti di mare, soggy fritto misto and simple barbecue meat. In other words come here only if you really want peace and quite and feel like enjoying the view, for the food not really!

The hotel is in the hills, just 3 km far from the sea & at an altitude of 300 m.if you descend, you will find all other section composing framura, until anzo which leads to rena beach.if you go ahead, you will find the marina and, after a tunnel, the railway station.in the underpass there is a small & typical beach called torsei, and from the beautiful marina, through a new cycle-pedestrian path you will also reach porto pidocchio beach, bonassola & levanto.rooms with tv,bathroom, free car park, large garden, tobacco shop, bar&lounge, enjoy relaxing!
We searched for a hotel that was located fairly close to Cinque Terre and was not over 100 euros per night. The cheapest hotel was this one, 25 km away (45 min drive), which was still not too far for us. The hotel was okay, nothing special but could be improved on some things. Positive: - big private parking - the hotel has a cafe and a tobacco store - it's on the top of the hill so you have the view of the sea - nice owner, that speaks good English Things to be improved: - beds were not comfortable, the mattresses are too soft - basic room with small tv - poor breakfast, just some toast, cereal, jam - a bit expensive for such an average hotel - seemingly they have a restaurant as well, but for some reason it was closed(we hoped to have dinner there, thankfully there was a pizzeria nearby that was open I wouldn't really say this is a bad hotel, but it wasn't worth 77 euros per night either(we were here in April)
