This in and spa was absolutely worth it. Rebuilt after a fire in 1997, it is so well kept and maintained, the normal wear and tear is really not even seen. It is extremely well-kept grounds are beautifully maintained, and I am already looking forward to going back. Everyone there was genuinely nice friendly and helpful.

This is a perfect getaway for someone looking for a quaint, nostalgic lodge with a gorgeous view of Chimney Rock & the Broad River. Went with my husband & met up with some friends there. We all agreed it was a great place to stay when visiting the place famous for filming Dirty Dancing as we felt like we were on a road trip with our parents in the 70's/80's. Lots to do in Chimney Rock & Lake Lure also. The Carters were lovely hosts.

Charming Motel located just outside of the village of Chimney Rock with beautiful views of the Hickory Nut Falls and the Chimney Rock lookout. Close to Lake Lure beach and Chimney Rock State Park. The 10 cozy rooms furnished with all the comforts of home.
Enjoyed our stay, the room was nice, it was clean, one draw back, I could hear the traffic in my room. I would be back. Not terribly too much h to eat near by and the ones there I believe I was told close at 8 pm. The view of Chimney Rock is great! Give you binoculars to view with in the room.

The Broad River Inn is a historic building set along the banks of the Broad River in the heart of Chimney Rock Village. Close to shopping, restaurants and attractions with ample parking makes this the perfect place to enjoy all Chimney Rock Village has to offer. We have 6 guest rooms and a Mini-Golf Course on the property. Our Riverfront suites feature private porches with fantastic views of the mountains and river. Guests can enjoy our free made to order breakfast in bed, on their private porch, or in our beautiful dining room.
We stayed at the inn for one night for our anniversary and wish it could have been longer. The hosts were awesome and assisted us with a medical issues with my husband. We were in room #8 which had a large porch overlooking the golf course and beautiful river. Breakfast was served in the restaurant area round 9:10 and was delicious. There are 8 rooms and a front sitting area with a fireplace which makes for a very cozy experience. I would love to visit in the fall.

The serenity and gorgeous views in the back made this the best place to stay two minutes from Chimney Rock Park. Enjoyed the evening on the swing listening to the roaring sound of the river right in the backyard while others built fires in the riverside fire-pits under a star lit sky. Spent the morning sitting on a huge rock in the river soaking in the sun. The hosts Tim and Yvonne were warm and truly welcome their guests like family! They made the stay feel like home!!! Fairly priced, clean rooms. so glad to have found this place!

I made a reservation for 2 nights online w this hotel. I entered a credit card to secure the reservation. They charged the full amount to my card the day before we were supposed to check in. It declined. They contacted me via text asking for another card to charge. I told them I thought the card was only to hold the reservation until we arrived and that we were going to pay in cash. (Or at least only one night with be charged in advance as is customary and that particular card had enough credit for one night.) They said they don’t accept CASH. I told them I would have to cancel the reservation. They said ok. I asked for a confirmation of the cancellation twice. Crickets… Not worth the hassle of dealing with this kind of issue, there are too many other reliable hotels in the area. I have stayed in several hotels across the states and have never had this sort of problem. Usually the card is not processed until check in after I have looked at the room. I attached a photo of the website to verify the location.

Experience the beauty of the Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Every Cottage is unique to give you just the one that suits your every wish. Beautifully maintained in yesteryear décor. Listen to the Rocky Broad in the quiet of the evening while looking at Chimney Rock Park or stay right on the river.
Our cottage was very nice with everything we needed. The view was perfect of the lovely river. Wildlife was amazing. We even had a sweet little groundhog who visited every day. Dianna, was wonderful, telling us anything we needed to know. Could see Chimney rock from our porch. We will be returning for sure!
