Hi, We where there for a four days sky trip with my family in the first week of January. The hotel is being refurbish not so long ago so looks like new. Our experience was lovely and well recommended for a family trip. The kids got a mini club in the afternoon so they can have fun with the rest of the children. We have the dinner included and every day we congratulate the team for the lovely meal and service. The room was clean a bit smaller in my opinion but with comfortable beds. They recommended us a visit to a sheep farm and the kids loved and also a tapas restaurant in Huesca that I loved. Well done for the front of house staff!!

This hotel is actually a ski lodge, I like the rustic atmosphere and the area in the Pyrénées is beautiful.lots of restaurants and shops, some great hikes for all levels. A nice escape from the August heat in Europe.also priced reasonable.

Emblematic and welcoming family, young and sporty atmosphere. Located in the heart of the Pyrenees, in the center of the ski resort of Candanchu and just 2 KM from Astún. It offers fantastic views of tracks from their rooms and a spectacular sun terrace with beautiful mountain views. Rooms from 30/33 m2, all with bathroom, TV-32 and FREE WIFI. Edelweiss restaurant where buffet breakfast is served daily menus. Escuhete a la carte restaurant specializing in fondue and Raclette. Café overlooking the slopes. The hotel features meeting rooms, pool, ski, sauna and "relax area" with showers and luggage storage for your ski air on departure. Available information on the 24h reception.
We stayed here for one night. Parking was free outside hotel. We paid extra for a mountain view and it was totally worth it. We stayed in room 203. Huge room. High ceilings. Enclosed balcony with option to open doors to the outside. Table and chairs on balcony. The mountains are amazing. The room decor/colour had a Scandinavian feel with reindeer pillows. Soft towels. Super comfy bed. Reception were lovely. They discussed and were able to rustle up a vegetarian pizza for us in the restaurant in the evening as it is hard to get meat/fish free dishes. All of the food was delicious. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast which has lots of good options. The hotel has a large bar area, hangout space with pool table and a very large balcony near the cafeteria outside for looking at the mountains. The hotel has a luxury feel with very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't want to leave.

The Hostel " El Aguila" is an alpine-style accommodation , family atmosphere that offers all the amenities to make your stay in Candanchu unforgettable. Its strategic location makes the Hostel El Aguila an ideal place to enjoy the holiday in the Pyrenees at any time of the year .
Great for hikers and travelers of all types. The staff is welcoming and helped with drying out our gear after several days of rain. The food was simple but good. The view was beautiful and the room was large.
