So friendly and helpful, spent time showing us things we should do/see while we were in the area, even kept our kids busy and quiet while we were distracted. What a great guy, thank you Jason!

Reviewed By Marco BI know it's cheaper and it may be tempting to sacrifice some comfort to save money, that's why I chose this place, but even if we just needed to rest for a few hours, it was way too expensive. We should've just slept in the car. I can testify that most of what's written here is true. It's moisty, smelly, mouldy and dirty. Sheets had a lot of stains (we slept with our clothes on). The fridge was leaking on the carpet which was all wet. The air was so damp inside the room that the sheets and pillows felt wet. There was some dead ants crushed on one of the wall near the sink. Bathroom was small with mildew on the ceiling and the fan. I sat on the toilet, I closed the door and there was excrement stuck on the wall behind the bathroom door (yes, it was real feces, I wiped it). EwW! Even the WiFi doesn't work well. Don't waste your money! Go elsewhere! And if you don't find anywhere else, just sleep in your car, you'll have a better night of sleep and you'll save money. This place should be closed for insalubrity.

Reviewed By rimpleashuOkay hotel! We visited during covid restrictions so daily cleaning wasn’t offered. They have free on site parking. The breakfast was take away. Microwave is available near the reception. It’s not very close to the tourist attractions so you do need a car to get around.

Reviewed By 67karalHaving enjoyed staying at many Best Westerns before, the stay I had here was for a lack of better words, comical. When we arrived, the staff at reception stared at us until I asked to be checked in. They quickly checked us in, provided us room cards, and sent us off without any directions as to where our room was. As our suite was on the second floor, we approached the stairwell and could already tell what to expect from our stay. The second floor had children running and screaming throughout the hall, with their parents having a loud conversation outside their rooms. While we thought this would not be a problem once we got settled in our room, the noise continued for over two hours, with the door and walls providing no barrier to the noise. We left for dinner and upon our return a younger adult crowd was partying in the hallway, complete with a speaker, and yelling amongst themselves, which we could hear from the first floor. When we reported this to the front desk, they allowed them to move outside by the back entrance in the parking lot (right under our window), where the party continued. We then had to report this again to reception to which they said all they could do was ask them to be quieter. I asked if we could cancel our three-night stay, including that first night, as it was obvious we wouldn’t have a quiet stay. The supervisor told us there was nothing he could do and to call their customer help line (a 30-minute call that didn’t result in any action). When we down a third time, we learned they cancelled our remaining two nights without any confirmation, refused to let us talk to the manager, refused cancelling our stay that night, and took no further action on the group partying in the back. After multiple trips to reception, a request to cancel our stay, and indifference from the supervisor, we accepted our fate, stayed the night, and left the next morning (woken by children screaming at 7am, then vacuuming at 9am). If you’re a larger group looking for a hotel with lax noise and loitering policies, this Best Western should meet your needs. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep, look elsewhere.

The only thing “negative” I could say is that the signalisation for the free parking is not obvious (you want to park in the yellow area) but other than that it was awesome. My room had a couch, a microwave and a mini fridge. The room is beautiful including the bathroom which is really, really nice. Worth staying here for sure and in my opinion it is better than the Alt Hotel…and just as close to everything.

Recently renovated, ideally located on Taschereau Boulevard, you will enjoy the hotel’s proximity to many local points of interest, including Charles Lemoyne Hospital and L’Etoile Banque Nationale Quartier Dix30 concerts venue. Shoppers will enjoy Champlain Mall and Quartier Dix30, the biggest lifestyle center in Canada and all the stores around the hotel. The countryside is nearby too, and nature lovers can observe wildlife at Parc Safari while sports enthusiasts can enjoy swimming, boating, waterside trails, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country and alpine skiing and cycling in the area.
The outside threw me off
Reviewed By jeano393When we first pulled in my husband and I laughed thinking we drove to the wrong place. After googling a bit more and looking at the area we did realize this was the place. For being a short notice place they were great for accommodating a family of 4 with a dog but I just wish the place didn’t look so extremely sketchy on the outside. Having an animal we were put on ground floor with hardwood which was understandable but walking in the hall I could smell cat urine. We were placed in an accessible room as I believe that’s all they had which was great minus not having a tub to give the kids a bath. The shower was beautiful but not ideal for 2 young children. We had booked two days and since this stay was to move into our new place I had hoped to be able to take the kids for a walk or a green area while my husband supervised the movers but there was no walkway, cement or really any grassy area. Other then that if you are looking for a place to lay your head while you enjoy the downtown and tour around this might be a great choice but until the Renovation are done I wouldn’t recommend it to families without warning them of the situation.

If I had only known - Picture Perfect

Our expectations were exceeded immediately upon checking in to this hotel, starting at the front desk! ALL of the staff, from check-in to restaurant to housekeeping were exceptional! Everyone so very friendly yet so very professional. The hotel itself appears immaculately clean and well organized and presents as picture perfect stay throughout! The rooms are spacious, minimalistic, and well designed. The bathroom included liquid soap, shampoo, body cream and just about anything you want in a hotel bath. While all we really wanted was a room for the night while passing through, the place simply invited additional nights just because so much is available. A fairly large shopping center is a few steps away with stores like Pottery Barn and others as well as multiple dining establishments and even a gas station very close by to fill up on the way out. Of course, if you own an EV there are charging stations for your convenience directly at the front door. If you don't speak French - also NO PROBLEM - everyone speaks English as well. Even parking is free in, what appears to be a very safe and secure, public garage with a short walk tunnel to the hotel lobby. If there was any form of complaint, and certainly thorough no fault of the hotel, it is that getting to it almost demands GPS. If I ever get back to this area, I’m going back to Hotel Escad Quartier DIX30!

Travelling With Dogs, Beware of Extra Charges $$$
Reviewed By May FI was about to book at this motel and decided to contact them to get the details of the pet policy since it seemed vague. I certainly cannot afford this place on my trip to the East coast. I have 3 tiny 5 pound dogs and they want $15 each dog, non refundable plus $60 damage deposit which I have to wait to get back after a room inspection. Since I hit the road at 5 AM when I travel and don't think I would ever see the deposit back, it works out to over a $100 more for my 3 dogs, why don't they just offer to rent me a dog room, would be cheaper. That is ridiculous! Always ask first when you travel with dogs folks.
