Hotel was clean, beds very comfortable, breakfast options to choose from were good. Tap room attached to hotel was wonderful, great food at a very reasonable price. Plus we didn't have to drive to eat elsewhere after being in the car all day. For a very large establishment things were run very well in our opinion. Will stay here again.

Closest Motel to Hoover Dam / Lake Mead - Located in the Heart of Historic Boulder City, this Mid Century Motel featuring Coffee makers and bath Amenities is walking distance to all the best restaurants and bars!
We spent 2 nights here. Our first night, the people in the room on one side were loud until at least 11 on, then around 2 am they went outside to get something from their car and the alarm went off. Took them a long time to turn it off. Then one of them left in the car around 3. Then the folks on the other side started being sick in the bathroom around 3 am (that's what it sounded like) and finally got up and left around 4 am. Tonight, we noticed one couple was cooking dinner just outside their door (camp stove maybe, we could smell their dinner) and as we returned from dinner, the guy in unit #1 was blasting rap music across the parking lot. This motel has really charming rooms and is very clean, but if you want decent sleep, forget it. The clientele is sketchy at best! If you decide to stay here, have good earplugs and double-lock the door.

We are also a pet friendly hotel so don't forget to bring your fur babies along too.
Stayed at this motel for two nights but wished I'd stayed somewhere else for sure. Booked in at 3.30pm 3rd to the 6th of May then told No Pool or Air Con !. Asked for money back so we could stay somewhere with air con. But told by check-in Lady " The Boss doesn't give refunds ". So Got our money but no facilities. Grudgingly went to the room to find only two lights working out of 8 also TV not working and no internet. Went back to reception to ask if they could sort the lights out and TV. The Lady at reception said she could sort out the lights but as the TV worked over the internet and the internet wasn't working nothing could be done !. The room was boiling as temp outside was 85degs asked for Fan got two, Got a feeling the Air Con hadn't worked for weeks as the room at reception had louds of fans in the back room, On leaving I could seen the pool opposite was full of brown sludge and an industrial pump was hard at work ! . So asked the Lady if the pool would be clean for our second day ! Reply was could take days . So we spent two sleepless nights with no air-con no pool no TV and no internet. But were made to pay full price . So please ask if their facilities are working before paying as you won't get your money back.

The Hoover Dam Inn is a modern hotel right in the heart of Boulder City. We offer all the things you would expect from a high-class hotel including a pool and hot tub, complimentary continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and RV/boat parking. We are located just minutes from a number of family friendly activities in and around Boulder City. We are also less than 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.
Booked as my other Quality Inn experiences were great. Wanted a place with Breakfast, as that saves easily $20 per person, we went as a couple so $40 was appealing. NO BREAKFAST! They had bags with a water, mandarin orange, and granola bar!!! ( see attached photo) Their breakfast area was cluttered with stored junk! They did not 'freshen" the room between days, AND their was a black hair in the bed...YUCK. Property is a total dive. When the desk was contacted, they couldn't have cared less, and appeared used to the complaints. Others were angry as well in the breakfast area. AVOID THIS DUMP AT ALL COSTS! ps. The chairs looked liked they'd been filming porno's in the room with the slime on them.

Great experience after a long day of traveling. The hotel has a restaurant, casino, general store and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend it. We had an excellent meal, the front desk hotel check in was fast and very helpful.

I have stayed here before and would do so again. The hotel is quiet and the rooms are large with comfortable beds and everything one needs. Easy access from the highway. Plus it isn't in Vegas so you get to avoid the traffic and commotion.

After a hike nearby we went to Milo’s Inn for a meal with friends. It was Martini Monday so 2 of tried some of the offerings. The Lemon Martini and the Dirty Martini were very good. The menus offer sandwiches, salads, appetizers and some dinner entrees. 3 of us went the sandwich route and 1 went with salad. All four of us were happy with the price, portion and service. We did not try and wine but there was lots to chose from! We will try on our next visit. It was an overall pleasant experience.

This review is for the bar, not the motel - Met co-workers at this place on 6/3/2020. Although I am a local, I had never been there, despite driving by thousands of times. We had a nice evening. Then, when I went to pay my tab, it was revealed to me that an individual, whom I know, and was talking with, who was not part of our group, and was there when I arrived, had left without paying their bill, and she had us on the same tab. She did this without my knowledge, or approval. I only ordered 3 drinks over several hours. The bill was for $65.00 . When I told her this was not my financial responsibility, she told me I had to pay it. There was no option of discussion. I had to reluctantly pay it, as I did not want her calling the police on me for trying to leave without paying the entire balance. I will never step foot into this establishment again. They need to retrain the barstaff. Theft, is theft. And as far as I'm concerned, over-charging a customer is stealing from them. What a shameful presentation for a business. I will in fact, continue to drive by, and advise the world not to go there.
