I am/was staying for 3 nights....when I checked in the front desk person told me I could “opt out” of housekeeping if I wanted to and to just hang a tag on the door which he gave to me. I do not choose to do that anywhere I go, so I didn’t, and the first day I received service as normal, everything was fine. Today I did not receive service so I asked the front desk about it, a new person informed me that there was no longer offering any housekeeping service at all, and that service only occurs when a guest checks out. This is outrageous and really quite gross. Not even trash or towels unless you explicitly ask the front desk for it, the clerk said to just leave by trash and towels outside the door. Additionally, the only vending machine in the entire hotel was completely empty (see attached picture) the entire time I was here and the morning breakfast service was being handled by one woman, whom each morning looked and acted as if she wanted to kill herself and by 7:30 each morning everything except for oatmeal was gone. The phone in my room is non-functional and the Free WiFi at the hotel does not work for even simple browsing tasks. Far and away the worst hotel experience I have had in a very long time.

This place is decent at $60 but not worth a penny more. Important info for your stay: 1. No common areas except hallways that are filthy and smell bad. 2. Windows do not have drapes - louvers instead that are not tight - rooms are bright at night from parking streetlights and car headlights. Bring a fleece blanket and clothespins if you want a dark room. 3. No coffee or coffee maker, cups, dishes at this place. Bring a coffee maker or something if you want coffee. Common Grounds, downtown Apex is great - 5 miles. 4. Rooms smell badly, sensitive folks will freak 5. No security or hotel folks around at anytime of day 6. Hot water runs out in the morning, so get up before 7 for a hot shower

We spent a few days here while visiting with family, during the holidays. The people at the front desk were very helpful and personable. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't much, but that's been typical. We'd stay here again.

We stayed here because it was pet friendly and were very impressed. It looked like it was recently renovated. Comfy beds and very clean room. While some of the usual amenities are restricted due to COVID (such as breakfast and the lending locker), we appreciated what they did have including the full refrigerator, kitchen items, and stove, outdoor BBQ, and laundry. Thank you to Henry and the staff for being pleasant and welcoming. (Pro tip... order your groceries online from the local Walmart across the road and pickup.)
