The chef really knows his way around all courses - salad dressing was freshly made and very flavourful, pasta cooked to perfection with choices of sauce and seafood, salmon and mahi mahi also presented very well. Desserts were delicious! Service by Wilton was top-notch! We would cheerfully enjoy the experience again. Take your time, relax, and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Reviewed By ValeriaP2148The Villa Flore is a two story house. In the upper larger apartment live the people who pay attention to the property. In this apartment there are 2 bedrooms which can be rented. At the beginning we had reserved such a bedroom on Booking.com. But when we arrived they have offered us a smaller apartment in the basement. We really appreciated this offer as it allowed us to have a private bathroom as well as to enjoy more privacy. This all for a very small and negligible higher price of 5 dollar to the total amount. Postive Points: - fridge to keep drinks and food cold - kitchen were can be cooked - own bathroom (with hot water) - enough space for 2 people - 2 fans (one in the entrance area and the other one in the bedroom) - stuff is friendly and helps when something needed - a big supermarket is close the the house - bus station is close (7 minutes walk) Negative points: - beach is not that near (15 minutes walk) - TV was not working (but they told us in advance and we told them that we dont need it) - WIFI signal wasnt always good Over all we were satisfied with our accomodation and can recommend it.

Reviewed By katrinae500Stayed for 5 nights. Place is on a quiet street but near lots of restaurants and nightlife. The room was clean, had what I needed, and the balcony and pool, which was empty when I was there, were nice. I had to find my own bottled water because it wasn't supplied.

Reviewed By syeedmalikI was met at the airport by the cab driver with my name on a large sign as per the agreement . I was safely and quickly driven to the compound. The one bedroom apartment was large and clean with a full kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, full size refrigerator and gas stove with oven. the bed was king size and a programable safe was in the closet. this is not a super lux hotel the furnishings while very serviceable could use an upgrade BUT the strip is right around the corner less than 200 hundred feet away!!! The beach is an easy and 10 min walk away. the well stocked super market a 3 min walk away. a convenience store is right across the street where I brought 12 packs of water and other sundry items. I made my own breakfast every morning because no one can make better omelettes than me. If you want to be right in the middle of all the action this is the place to be. There was no big sign or indication of the hotel which gave the property a private vibe. The owner was hands on and security 24/7 The cleaning lady came everyday with fresh linen and towels. TIP HER WELL she does a great job. This property is not a resort BUT IT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING. If that what you want out of Sosua you can do no better in my opinion. Oh one more thing The shower water is very HOT

Reviewed By TravelbranNot quiet, jackhammer, skillsaw, construction, knocking, kids crying, mother yelling, cat crying, dog barking, loud music, In the condo: no freezer, no oven because it was dirty, tiny kitchen no place to cook, 5 minutes of hot water, had to help out to paint the doors, no cable, no clothes washer, had to pay for the water, beware of him asking you to pay for the electricity or propane, hard mattress … and people staying there are very noisy and they talked behind each other’s back or the man in charge yell after you! It is not a vacation,

Reviewed By Marc DThese condos are in great need of repairs. The condo we rented had leaky pipes in the kitchen. Repairs took 6 weeks to complete. Leaks in the washroom followed and then again in the kitchen. We left 2 months early because repairs were not being made. Other condos were in the same condition. Upgrades to appliances, furniture and curtains are desperately required. The photos online were very deceiving.

POOL: Green called the frog pond. Cant swim in it water never tested and green. Ph 0 only put Chlorine. ROOM cleanliness: dirty, have not been painted or really cleaned in years. WATER: Ran out or broken equipment 5 time in 6 weeks. They even at one point transferred water from the pool to the reservoir of water used to take your shower. So you shower with green dirty water. EXTERIOR: Have not been painted or maintain since construction, black stain on paint due to water damage. Water thru the roof. INTERNET: Not even passable, goes in about 30 inches in room, many bring their own connection. Admin has its own because the public one is no good. PROSTITUTION: Rooms rented for a night of action just like Cabana. Called itself a familly oriented place. Would you let your kid see that level of prostitution. ADMINISTRATION: Either completely overwhelm with the work to be done or simply incompetence. MAINTENANCE man: Cant really blame him he is paid such a low wage he dont do nothing except swim (frog pond) drink beer, and hide in a corner and be on internet, So basically a beautifully located place, with a lot of issue, not repairing anything getting your cash and the H**l with your complain. Dont rent Dont buy hopefully it will change management and things go to better, but with present management you can surely find better. Of all i talk about i have picture and people to corroborate.

Reviewed By RadioByrdMonOn our first trip ever under very shaky circumstances, the Mary Rose and the management became our stabilizing home base and port of calm in a whirl of chaos. Comfortable, clean rooms with kitchens and refrigerator. Near to beaches and restaurants, helpful, friendly staff, pool, and a fantastic open-air lounge working area overlooking the pool from the second floor. Pleasant nicely kept grounds. There are a couple of house dogs on premises but they are friendly and no bother. The management worked with our suddenly-stressed budget and sorted out a dream condominium for long-term rental at their Trade Winds. Mary Rose is like a family. Jamie, Milka, and Rick are all the most accommodating and empathetic hotel owner-managers I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. They made our experience with the DR the dream it turned out to be.
