People do swim here but a lil bit rocky. For the more adventurous there is a cliff you can access to jump off. As seen in the music video by YK- Coast cruising I believe these are the cliffs they are seen jumping from. Great fishing and quite often whale and Orca and dolphins can be seen. I recently saw a pod of about 5 Orca in really close and have seen dolphins and pilot whales before. Lovely piece if paradise.

This is a secret lil spot, have alook at the boats...stop in for lunch and if you have kids or just interested in a free nature show yourself. Head over yo Z pier where if you grab some squid or some kind of bait you can hand feed snapper, kingfish and at the right time of day there are some tame stingrays that come along. Brutus is the famous one. Its awesome and in this day in age free lil things like this make life good espesh with the kids . highly reccomend

We stopped at Army Bay Beach for a picnic lunch - the area is spotlessly clean with toilets, changing rooms and a shower. There is a grassy area in between the free car park and the beach for those who don't want sand blown into their sandwiches!
We suspect that this beach has the potential to get rather busy during summer weekends and holidays as it close to a lot of housing.

We went with some friends who told us this place was great a few years back. Now it's very expensive $8 per person to have a picnic and a ride in the little train. The rabbit warrens and the games are all run down. Even though we had a good time, I certainly wouldn't recommend it or go back there again.

Step into a futuristic indoor labyrinth filled with smoke, music and lighting effects. Gripping a High-Tech Phasor, prepare yourself for an intense battle of skill and strategy. Caught in the middle of a space-age laser battle, you'll test your courage, stealth, cunning, and stamina by tagging enemy bases, de-energising your opponents and finding your way through the arena.
We booked this for our son's 8th birthday. the staff were super helpful and sorted everything for us. The boys loved the bowling and lazer strike. they then spent a crazy hour on the big kidzone indoor playground. The kids are keen to come back as soo nas we will let them. good cafe and nice food too ( and they got beer ! )

We booked two families for a night out bowling recently. On a Saturday night I would expect the ONLY bowling alley in a 50k radius to be absolutely humming, well it wasn't.
The reason became obvious very quickly - the owners have let the place go and just run it into the ground. There was only one person on and she was a young teenager who was trying to manage the counter bookings, take drinks orders and organise fast food.
While doing all this she had her face firmly planted in her mobile phone the whole time! The lack of care and respect was shocking.
We had to ask for the air con to be put on as it was so hot
We had to ask for the music to be turned up (nothing like bowling to loud pumping music not deafening silence) The music was delivered out of small black speakers on the counter. When I asked to use the big wall mounted speakers she told me the owners hadn't told her how to turn them on!
The additional gaming machines / arcade games were all switched off with a big sign saying under construction but judging from the dust and state of the area there was no construction happening.
The whole night was so disappointing I called the owner on the following Monday to express our feedback and he couldn't have cared less. I told him I couldn't find his website and he told me it wasn't working....
Overall I got the impression he just couldn't have cared less and the premises and staff reflect that.
