Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, located next to Fort Constitution in New Castle, New Hampshire, is open for guided tours every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., late May through mid-October. UPDATE: The parking lot is closed except it will be open on Oct 10 & 11 from 10-4. After that it will be locked until next summer. The museum is closed also until 2021. The Visitor Center and museum is open Friday through Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day from10 a.m. until 3.30 p.m. It has exhibits about the military history of the fort and a whole section about shipwrecks which happened in the New Castle area.

Found by mistake! Just taking a road trip with my daughter and wanted to see something in New Hampshire. We both love history so this was great. The view is beautiful and the lighthouse is there also.
