Watch our master brewers in action! Join one of our guides on an educational and highly entertaining journey through the world of ERDINGER Weissbier. How is it brewed, what happens in the bottling plant and why is the high-bay warehouse so cool? Our experts at the Visitor Center know the brewery inside out and can answer (almost) all your questions. After the tour, you can experience the full range of ERDINGER wheat beers with a traditional Bavarian snack in our cozy Visitor Center – with wheat beer, white sausages and pretzels (two per person). Including the snack, the whole tour lasts about three hours. Groups of 10 or more will receive a free souvenir photo of the group in the brewhouse. We offer tours in German, English and Italian. Our video films are available in German, English, Italian, Spanish and French.
I think it was quite easy to reach from Munich. We had bought group ticket for Munich transportation from the airport and it covered also Erding. Just a train to Erding and a buss from there. It was quite surprising that Erdinger was the only one making tours on Fridays. English tour was possible and the tour guide was good. The amount of the beer they produce is very impressive.
After the tour we got to taste all the varieties of their beer and sausages and pretzels were included also. Their own mustard was excellent.
15€ for the tour is very cheap. Great visit! Highly recommend!

Don't expect too much, however the museum is well done. The style is very modern and you get a lot information about Erding and the entire region, but only if you are able to understand German. The entrance fee is reasonable.

Open Air Museum
Every friday afternoon a farmersmarket is held at the museum. Then there is no entrancefee, but the kiosk is also closed then, so no museumguide for sale that day. We visited such a friday. interesting market, bought 2x deergoulash and got some homede kind of fried bread to go with it, all for 3 Euro total (for 2 people). it was such a large protion that a dreamt desert had to be cancelled, that's how stuffed we were. The museum can be called small, so one does not need half a day to visit. Perhaps not that educatif as other musea, but I could see the charm of it. If one is in the neighbourhood and one has some time left, then recommended.

Little Vegas in Erding. just come in and see. We are located in Erding since 1986. We have 4 Stores in Erding wich have Gamblingmachines, Pool Billard, Snooker and Dart. Also we serve Softdrinks and small dishes. For more information see our homepage thank you We love to welcome you
I don't get to play very often these days and the place I previously used has closed down so I needed to find somewhere different. To be honest I wasn't expecting much from Stardust Casino, after all it is a casino type venue and not usually ideal for pool. How pleasantly surprised I was; calm and spacious with 9 excellent pool tables and one snooker table, all well kept. The ambience was ideal.
What more can I say other than I'll be back.

Erding has a beautiful city park.
In addition to an extensive wooded area, there is a big playground for kids called “Weniadunum” and a game enclosure. Here you can find a bird park plus some goats and rabbits. There are also some peacocks living here.
A great place to spend a sunny afternoon
Note that as of winter/spring 2018 in the city park area is a lot of construction work going on, but it is not closed completely. It looks like the place, especially the wooded areas, experiencing a makeover.

The City Wall
It was built in the 15th century maybe earlier) then destroyed during the Thirty Years' War [1618-1648] and eventually demolished in the 19th century.
There are only two parts of the city wall of Erding existing today. One large portion can be seen next to the “Zeitlos” restaurant at the Heilig-Geist-Hof.
It is beautifully illuminated at night and during big football events there is a public watch party right next to it, where they show the matches on a large screen.
This part of the remnants include a fortified tower structure and a gate that leads to the river “Sempt”
The other part that still remains is located at the Roßmeyrgasse, which run parallel to the small “Eittinger Fehlbach” river.
BTW: “Stadtmauer” is the German word for city wall.
