An hours walk from our hotel and even in the rain, well worth the effort. Stunning views over Derwent Water - easy to see why AW loved it. Don’t miss the slate quarry with its countless statues. Very eerie!

A favorite walk. Bus to Rosthwaite then up and over to Watendlath then down the super pretty hanging valley descending either to Borrowdale hotel or on to surprise view and Ashness bridge. You can just drive up the the tarn which is very pretty but the road is very narrow and the walk is so much better.

After a lovely walk through the woods, you arrive at the beautiful waterfall. It's loud and impressive! Very nice after a few days of rain

We had a morning session at the day spa as part of our holiday in Keswick and it was fantastic! Amazing facilities, we loved it and felt so relaxed afterwards. Great value for money, would love to return.
