My friends and I did the Wizards Tale / Harry Potter themed room for my friends birthday and had an absolute blast! The puzzles were hard enough that it put the pressure on to get through everything, and the staff was beyond helpful with clues - even expanding on clues when we struggled with the basic hints they gave. I’ll definitely be going back!

Our first trip to these gardens. Beautiful!! A huge variety of plants and trees. Definitely a show stopper for all seasons. It is still early now and many flowers are just beginning to bud out. Looking forward to several more trips this year to see the changes. Trust me, take an hour out of your day and just wander around, look at the blooms, listen to the water features and just restore your soul.

Originally purchased in April 1974 from John Stone and opened to the public in May 1978, Yellow Creek Park provides a multifaceted recreational and leisure opportunity. Nestled along the wooded banks of Yellow Creek at Thruston, the 152 acre park features hiking trails, multi-purpose sports areas, a Pioneer Village, and several outdoor pavilions. Other amenities that set Yellow Creek Park apart from other area parks include a swinging bridge, a refurbished one room school house, a 7 acre lake, and multiple walking trails. Our trail guide can be found here. Yellow Creek Park is a frequent backdrop for both professional and amateur photographers. Family portraits and senior pictures are often taken near the iron bridge and the James Lambert Pioneer Village. The Pioneer Village boasts two log cabins and two log barns that are the perfect setting for photos, weddings and family gatherings.
Love this park. Several great locations to have family reunion, church picnics and day camps. Great playground and even a splash pad. The Parks and Rec do a great job of maintaining it

While the museum was not expansive it has enough exhibits to be quite interesting! The second floor is dedicated to government/civics, which I very much enjoyed. I’d definitely come back again with our little one.
