We are an open, working family farm with indoor and outdoor adventure play areas, acres of beautiful walks, a large variety of farm animals including pigs, sheep, cows and goats. Activities on offer include free barrel rides, piglet racing, cuddle corner petting sessions with the smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. We also run pony rides and tractor tours of the farm at a small extra cost. Lots of picnic areas and a large family restaurant.
We've been coming here since my 9 year old was a baby and we love it. Staff are friendly, I can relax knowing my children are safe to run around, the facilities are great and restaurant recently really improved. The annual pass is great value for locals like us and there are regular themed weekends. Most extras within the farm are free, except pony rides and the large tractor rides so you don't feel like you're constantly being done for money. The walks are glorious, there's loads of wildlife and a new indoor playbarn which the kids love.

Wicksteed Park is a real gem of an amusement park set in beautiful countryside. We have been four times in the last two years, we heard about it from my sister in law who remembers going there as a child. It’s really well signposted and easy to find, you will find that there is a lot of parking too, it’s not free to park £6 all day and remember to pay before you leave to get an exit ticket. You can pay for parking in the shop and top tip buy your wristbands online and pick them up in the gift shop near laser quest, you will avoid the queues at the front. The park is spread out over beautiful grounds and rides go from the gentle kid friendly rides to a roller coaster and log flume. The highlights for us are the roller coaster, racing cars, log flume and umbrella ride. You can go on a train ride around the park to get your bearings and there’s loads to do it’s a packed day out. The bonus is you can take your own food in and you can exit the park and re enter with no checks or security because you only pay for the rides. We’ve never had a bad day out here, it’s not the cheapest day out but it’s a full fun day. We will definitely be returning next year with our baby to introduce her to what’s fast become a family favourite.

Visited yesterday for the first time, and will definitely return!! Plenty of parking, no charge. My dog was very happy to explore off lead, we both enjoyed our walk and are looking forward to seeing the seasons changing there.

3 adults, 2 children, for the £3 kids film. Plenty of free parking. Easy online booking, print inside foyer. Foods expensive but that's no surprise and we planned for this. Sat in the premier seats, not as comfy as Showcase in Peterborough but great for £3. Free balloon and shortbread from Costa as we left! Will definitely do again.
