We frequently visit Ludington, and a trip is not complete without a few trips to Stearns Park. Between the amenities offered, concession stand, locations, and friendly staff, it is a definite must. Once in a while you have to live a little, and they offer deep fried Oreos. Get them!!!!

The Ludington Waterfront Park is an excellent place to go for a picnic, beautiful water and boat viewing, sculpture admiring, historical references, wide path walks and people watching!

It's so much fun and you have to do it while in ludington. Walk on a pier and follow the path to the lighthouse if it is not too windy. I am a " big chicken" but it was so worth it. The lighthouse was not open but you could stay there and have a perfect sunset picture. Don't wear your good shoes and keep your phone in a left pocket. The waves could splash you a bit or more ????. Definitely a fun walk to the light is a must.

The S.S. Badger is the largest car ferry to ever sail Lake Michigan and has provided a safe, fun, and reliable shortcut across the inland sea for 67 years. The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.
Great way to make your way west and by pass Chicago traffic relaxing and great service. Highly recommended. Will do again

Working elk ranch, take a 50 minute ride through our 130 acres of beautiful pasture where you will see elk cows and calves, spikers and bull elk up close. You will have the opportunity to feed the elk right from the wagon.
I Had a great time at Amber Elk Ranch, This is my 2nd year back and it’s awesome still!! Brought my 2 month old and gf and they seemed to enjoy it a lot too. The tour was great, and they also had a Saturday Cook Out, the Elk Burger was amazing!! Got another T-shirt and will be back next year
