Imagine a place with multi-level play structures, ball ponds, air cannons, a jelly mountain, football pitches, comfy seating for mums and dads to relax, an ever changing menu with freshly prepared food, a fully licensed bar and most of all… Fun!
I just want to say a huge thank you to Kurt , Chloe and Cydnee who were the party hosts for this evenings charity event. Nothing was too much trouble for them from setting up a room for Father Christmas to calling the raffle and playing with the children whose ages ranges from 2-15years old. They were not only helpful but enthusiastic and energetic! Fantastic feedback from all who attended . See you again soon

Located in the centre of Basildon in Essex, this welcoming and vibrant theatre is an excellent venue for live entertainment. They offer a wide range of productions throughout the year to suit all ages and tastes - such as dramas, comedies, thrillers, musicals, ballets, operas, tribute bands, children's productions and many more. Their annual pantomime is well renowned for being the best in the area, and for two years running it was awarded a 5 star review from The Stage (2014 and 2015). They also boast a modern and stylish Café Bar which is open on weekdays from 8am - 3pm, and 2 hours prior to evening performances. Offering a delicious selection of hot and cold meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, it's a great place to meet before a show - or if you just fancy popping in for a coffee and a cake.
Great little theatre. Take the family to panto ever year. Their pantomimes produced by Simon Fielding and frankly the pantos are brilliant, this years Dick Witingham being no exception. It's so lovely that the company and theatre bring the generations together for proper belly laughs.

Stay and Play Indoor Children's Play Centre is the perfect place to meet up with other Parents for a chat, share Parenting experiences or Advice whilst your Children play safely and make new friends.Your Children can be seen at all times from your table.Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and cold drinks are available plus we have a Yummy Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Menu. We have a Brand new Sensory Room which opened in October 2017.
Our second Christmas party at stay and play which is our favourite soft play centre. My grandson is nearly four and we have been visiting the centre for s few years . The food is always good and nicely presented. Particularly recommend the omlettes. We prefer to go midweek as weekends can be a bit overwhelming. The centre is a ideal size you are able to keep an eye on the children most of the time. If you need to go round with them it can be quite a workout for old nannas! The parties are particularly well organised. Armbands are given our to regulate visits to father Christmas and the children's food in separate room ( sandwich, crisps, cake drink and yoghurt) presented in a box so if you don't want to waste time eating it can be taken home. Exciting visitors throughout the morning including Peppa pig, fireman Sam, Mickey and Minnie mouse, Spiderman and baby shark and of course father Christmas. Decent present. Altogether great value for money Thoroughly recommend stay and play Laindon Crisps and sandwich eaten
