I’ve lost count how many times I’ve been here. Came here on the first day it opened and have been coming back since. Had some of the best day of airsoft here and the sites always changing there’s always something new been done or a new type of game play which keeps it interesting. Justin and Charlotte do a fantastic job of running the site. Not forgetting the marshals they do a great job as well. Oh and the food is always good the burgers are the bomb. Thank you for some of the greatest days of airsoft I’ve ever had. I’ll always recommend you guys :)

we went to visit, just because we had an hour to kill. little did i know that we would find a true working mill! Nigel Moon - a true living image of windy miller - was more than happy to tell us the history of this great working mill and let us climb up into the upper levels of the tower. Would loved to have been able to buy some flour but as we live overseas it wasn’t really possible. But talking to Mr Moon has made me more determined to buy quality bread or even try to make it myself! great place to take children

One Way Out is a fantastic escape room experience located in Oakham, Rutland. Use strategy, team work and brain power to crack codes, solve puzzles and complete the game in 70 minutes. During the event your game master will guide you if you need a hint. Work together, think together and most importantly, laugh together. Our games are also the best value anywhere, with prices between £12.50 and £20 per head depending on group size and for that you get up to 70-80 minutes of play (depending on which game you choose)
We had a fantastic experience! We decided to try the murder mystery and unfortunately got caught by the police! The stage and clues were well set and provided a good challenge, well worth a visit for all you murder mystery lovers!

The splendid Great Hall of Oakham Castle is one of the finest Norman Halls in England. The Hall is best known for its collection of enormous commemorative Horseshoes donated by members of the Royal Family and Peers of the Realm. It is also decorated with a range of 12th century sculptures. The grounds of the Castle are a peaceful oasis in the centre of Oakham.
Amazing collection of horseshoes and lovely stories about them from our volunteer guide Jim! Free entry and parking. Highly recommended.

Set in a beautiful rural location, just 4 miles from the pretty market town of Oakham in Rutland, we have everything you need for the perfect day out. Built within an original 1818 Victorian walled garden, the nursery was founded by Fred and Ivy Gates when they created a market garden back in 1948. Still very much a family business today, we are proud to say that many of the traditional values the business was built upon are just as important to us today. Covering over 10,500 square metres of indoor and outdoor displays and offering a wide choice of goods, ranging from indoor and outdoor plants, garden care and hardware, gifts, home ware, garden furniture and BBQs, clothing and much more besides, why not pay us a visit and experience the charm of Gates Garden Centre for yourself?
Fantastic place. Gates is just brilliant - amazing array of plants, gardening equipment, books, gifts, interior decor, coffee shop, restaurant and a Farm Shop that is simply amazing. Love it. Great to have it in the area - never come away empty handed.

I visited Bugtopia today with my brother and partner. We were slightly apprehensive beforehand about being a group of adults in case it was geared towards little kids but we needn't have worried! We received a lovely welcome and enjoyed a packed schedule of feeding times and interactive experiences which were led by a really knowledgeable member of staff. We saw a lot of animals that we hadn't seen before despite being keen zoogoer's (particular favourite was the armadillo!). In response to some of the reviews that state that they only took 10/15 mins to walk round - as with eveything, the experience is what you make of it. We easily spent 2 hours here and thought it was excellent value for money. We look forward to returning again to experience some of the feeding times that we missed today. Thanks!
