In our studio you are going to find firsthand fine art pieces and the renowned artist who made them. It is a place where clay, plaster, glass, metal and fiber glass become into works of art. We promise that you will always remember having visited us.
This is quite an interesting gallery to visit, with very unique works of art, performed by different artists. There are even partnerships between USA and Cuba. Worth to have a look, and you can see the artists working. Free entrance.

A day-trip to Havana with Joan and his driver was amazing! They both were very friendly, respectful and professional, I felt that I was in good hands (for me as a solo traveller it was very important). I am glad I opted for the private tour because I was able to help local people and got a very unique authentic experience. Joan is a great guide: he speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable, open and ready to answer all questions about history and current events. Highly recommended to anyone!

This excursion was a free one that came with our trip through Hola Sun. It isn't for anyone who has a disability/is unable to climb stairs, or anyone who is secretly claustrophobic.. I personally have a disability, but medication is working so I was able to climb back out of the underground cave slowly. You go down about 159 steps and slopes and etc to wonder through an ancient cave system that was once underwater. The crystals and fossils inside are amazing. It is very humid, but despite them saying it was going to be hot, you didn't notice it until you climbed the 159 steps to get your of the caves. Great tour! Was totally worth it! Can't wait to get pictures off my go pro!

Most museums gather fragments of their area of specialty, and use them to tell a story. This one is a story in its own right - not a fragment, but an entire pharmacy frozen in amber. All of the jars and vases and drawers full of the medicines used in Cuba a century or more ago are arrayed just as they would have appeared to a late 19th or early 20th century customer. Total immersion in a different world. And beautiful to behold. Matanzas is not going to be on everyone's dance card, but if you are in the neighborhood, do stop and see.

It took me 3 years, but I finally made it to this destination! And I wasn't disappointed. Each handmade book is absolutely beautiful. Watching the artists create the books is fascinating. I only wish I had more room in my suitcase. Reasonably priced. I couldn't leave without making a purchase.

Simple by modern museum standards the Bay of Pigs Museum gives you a very different take on the battle. The road there is marked with memorials to all the fallen and the museum does a great job of connecting you with those fallen.
