Bournemouth’s seven miles of beach and exceptionally warm microclimate make it a favorite of U.K. travelers. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re a watersports fanatic (try surfing lessons!) or just want to let your kids splash around in the calm waters. For a traditional Bournemouth vacation, rent a classic beach hut.

Another relaxing visit to my favourite spa venue Always a great welcome from Edina (the Manageress), and she also asks how the treatments were afterwards Arabela was my therapist, and I had a back, neck and shoulder massage followed by a foot and leg treatment - just divine. The service at the spa is superb! The ambience is very relaxing and the therapist are all very friendly and professional

Upper, Central and Lower Gardens have all been Green Flag winners since 1999 and run from Bournemouth pier to the boundary with Poole. The gardens are 3 kilometres long. They are all part of the Bourne Valley Greenway and are Listed Grade II in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens. There are lots of activities and events taking place, or you can simply enjoy the scenery. Find out more about the history of the gardens here. The Lower Gardens This section of the gardens is quite short, it runs from the pier to the town centre, but there is always lots going on. Year-round attractions include Classic mini golf, a bandstand, refreshment kiosks and Street food corner site, an aviary, and art exhibition. Seasonal events in this section of the gardens attract thousands of visitors. In 2018 the gardens became the main setting for the Christmas Tree Wonderland.
Wonderful beach fine sand and blue sea, gorgeous beach huts. Memories from my childhood and it’s exactly the same, clean and everywhere well kept, lower and upper gardens right near beach, the band stand and crazy golf a great childhood memory from over 50 years ago. Great it’s all still there. Park lovely and wonderfully well kept gardens. There’s usually someone playing guitar and singing in the park which is great Well worth a visit

The Bluewater Spa has recently undergone a major refurbishment and is one of Bournemouth's finest with over 600m2 of floor space offering 3 treatment rooms and a wide range of fantastic treatments to help you to relax and unwind. Located in the 4 star Connaught Hotel, the spa proudly boasts a truly magnificent facility which comprises a large heated indoor 18m swimming pool - most suitable for serious swimmers - and an adjoining, fully refurbished spa pool for those just wanting to "chill" out!! By the poolside there is a luxurious, fully tiled, eucalyptus infused steam room with subtle lighting and a beautifully fitted-out sauna, also with subdued lighting, providing guests with just the right ambiance for total relaxation. The Spa has two fully equipped gymnasiums - a resistance gym for those wanting to build muscular strength and a cardio vascular gym for those looking to work on their aerobic fitness - both areas with air-conditioning. We look forward to welcoming you.
After my plans for my boyfriends 30th birthday were cancelled (a trip to mexico vs Covid-19!) I booked us into the Bluewater Spa for a last minute spa day. I opted for the Revive spa day package and it was amazing. We both had a 30 minute back, neck and shoulder massages, then my other half had a hot stone back massage whilst I had a foot massage. It was lovely to have these in a couples treatment room and the treatments were all incredible. It was my boyfriends first experience of a professional massage and it’s safe to say it won’t be his last! The facilities were lovely at the hotel. The sauna and steam room were closed but given the current circumstances around the virus this was completely understandable and the absolute right thing to do. Lovely large pool and jacuzzi. My only comment would be that the area around the pool with the loungers was quite small and could only fit 6 loungers. This wasn’t a problem for us at all as the spa was very quiet when we were there, but be mindful that if you went on a busy weekend it would be an issue. Our package also included a complimentary hot drink, a choice of a 2-course lunch or afternoon tea, and a glass of Prosecco. We went for the 2-course lunch and it was so lovely, the service was great. All in all excellent value for money and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks for saving the day, bluewater spa! :)
