The birthplace of the tango is, like the dance itself, captivating, seductive and bustling with excited energy. Atmospheric old neighborhoods are rife with romantic restaurants and thumping nightlife, and Buenos Aires' European heritage is evident in its architecture, boulevards and parks. Cafe Tortoni, the city's oldest bar, will transport you back to 1858, and the spectacular Teatro Colon impresses just as it did in 1908. Latin America's shopping capital offers the promise of premium retail therapy along its grand, wide boulevards.

I joined a guided tour of the stadium and I really enjoyed it! Being a fan of football and knowing about Boca I had to come here but I was surprised by the stadium's layout and features. It was really interesting and you;d never get a stadium like this in England. Just wish the seasons was running as I'd have lover to see Boca playing.

I danced on the stage here for the Festival BA - the Mundial de Tango. It is a two week festival of dance and music spread all over the city of Buenos Aires in August every year. This is a medium sized theatre with lots of exhibition space around it.The sound is terrific, the seats are comfortable. The only drawback to this theatre is that the backdrop and floor are natural wood, and give everything a yellow tint. A central space is used for a dance floor for group lessons and tango parties. There is a small cafe outside the front door, but they are often very busy. Usina del Arte is located in Boca, south of the central district and Puerto Madero, but taxis are cheap and there are lots of buses stopping right in front, if you can navigate those. There is a train in the courtyard for a good photo backdrop.

One of my favourite memories of Buenos Aires, was attending a Boca Juniors' football game on their home turf (naturally). I quickly learned that no fans from the opposing team are permitted to attend these games, (which goes for the other teams as well) --for good reason. The atmosphere was electric and incredibly exciting. How could it not be with so many loyal and extremely passionate fans chanting enthusiastically for their beloved Boca Juniors' team. I initially turned down a ticket because I thought it was a little pricey ($100 US), that is until an Argentinian friend told me how hard it was for locals to get tickets. Everyone, she said, wants to see these games, and I shouldn't miss out on this opportunity. Boy, was she ever right! Anyone who has a chance to attend one of these games should grab it. Just remember to always cheer for the home team!!

Known as the birthplace of the tango, this one-time shipyard has a famous walkway, the Caminito, where tango dancers perform and artists exhibit their work.
Amazing experience walking down the streets of La Boca, Boca football stadium (Estadio Alberto J. Armando) guided tour and famous walkway, the Caminito...If you have time sit down in a cafe or restaurant in Caminito and enjoy the tango in the background with some amazing Argentinian cuisine. Must do when you are in Buenos Aires!!!

@labocadelarte Shop and Art Space, by artists Bea Grosso and Vastasimon. We are in a beautiful building of the year 1896, former residence of Italian immigrants, called conventillo. The place was restored by the architect Beatriz Maria Grosso, who prioritized to preserve the identity of the property and the original materials. We occupy one of the spaces on the ground floor, and we go out to the sidewalk to exhibit our works and share beautiful art experiences. It is the most authentic area of La Boca, with its neighbors in the streets, choripan stalls, and art at every step. The street where we are, Del Valle Iberlucea, is the way to go from Caminito to La Bombonera
