8 Sights & Landmarks in Financial District That You Shouldn't Miss

July 30, 2021 Tonie Szymanski

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

St. Andrew's Church

Reviewed By johnbyl50 - Ancaster, Canada

A magnificent building, with detailed woodwork, hand crafted lead glass windows, and an oasis of quiet beside the noise of busy city streets, and dwarfed by quickly assembled homogenous skyscrapers. Memorials to those who died in war, and long term contibutors to the well being of this church.

Brookfield Place

Reviewed By MyCoachEd - Toronto, Canada

Just north of front between Bay and Yonge Street - a short block from Union Station. Nicest lobby/galleria of all Toronto Towers (Scotia Plaza a close second). Home to Marche, the Hocket Hall of Fame and Hocket themed Tim Horton's and my favorite newspaper stand on the Yonge Street Side. Please dont miss it and please let me know, if you liked it!!
