Leonels work is exceptional. His shop showcases a wonderful variety of pieces, along with his daughters work. It is a must visit in Monchique, and the Alvarge especially if you love ceramics. Despite limited english, Leonel and I spoke at length of his work, kiln temperatures and glazing. He was so generous with his time. All pieces are unique and reasonably priced (if anything too cheap!), ranging from €8-100+. Finding any ceramics of this quality in the UK would be 5x the price.
Welcome to the best Monchique Liquors, here you will see a variety of culture from Monchique and Portugal, such as Liquors, Compotes and typical ceramic, we are waiting for you!
