Me and some friends had been dying to try some sort of escape room, and I've came across escape one by word of mouth. We did the laboratory, and let me you, I was pleasantly surprised! the puzzles were really engaging and made us have a lot of team work, it's a really cool experience and the owner was super nice and helpful and made the experience ever better, I know they have a different puzzle room, Atlantis, and we are totally planning on going there.

It is important travel, but also to get out of our homes and make ourselves known while sharing the good things our town has to offer. That is why I can't resist sharing with you this Escape Room experience, which I recommend vividly to those who come to the Algarve. It is a fun game, personalized and different (in a good way) from other games - it was created from scratch by the owners. It is a smart game, inspired by the city and the region. The riddles are innovative and make you think, while stimulating the group spirit. Paula, the game master, with her kindness, is there to walk you through the whole course, answer any questions, talk and help make this experience memorable. Bring your family, friends and come, you'll enjoy a good time!

Before I made my booking I enquired about possibilities for 6 boys of 11/12yrs old. As this was a birthday bash for my son. I was worried if the boys would like it and would the game be too difficult for the boys? Mark answered all my questions and took away my doubt so I booked the game for the boys. Due lockdown restrictions Mission Masters were allowed to open their doors. Mark opened the doors only for this group, which I find that fantastic! At arrival the boys were briefed about the mission and the game. During the whole game the boys kept their masks on as this is required in a public place. I think the boys were allowed to take the masks off when they were in the escape room. We live in Portugal, so for the boys it was quite common to wear their masks. So they kept it on during the game. Mark who runs it, watches/hears you and he will give clues when the boys need him. Btw, Mark speaks fluent Portugues, English, Dutch (perhaps more languages) so there wasn't a language barrier. As for the game. The boys did not manage to break out within 60min :( They needed 62min. But ..... the boys loved the spy game!!! They even want to come back for the other game. The boys chatted along with Mark about the riddles/puzzles after the game without giving me things away. He took some pictures of the boys. He also gave me feedback on how the boys did the mission. After packing our stuff, we went next door to have a drink & sweet from a simple café to end the party. Some practical info: you don't have to book as they will take walk in, but I would suggest you to book beforehand. Also if you come by car you'll find plenty of parking spots in front of Mission Masters. Yes I would definitely highly recommend Mission Masters Escape Rooms Albufeira!!! (April 2021)
