Quite an interesting place to visit. Lots of colour and noise. We took a short walk to bathers beach and south mole to watch a container ship come in. Lots of eateries and breweries nearby. A bonus is the bon scott statue.

South Perth Foreshore is just a five minute Transperth Ferry ride from the City centre and Elizabeth Quay. There is a train station situated right next door to the ferry terminal at Elizabeth Quay. So, after touring the City of Perth why not jump on the ferry for a relaxing ride over to South Perth and relax on the beautiful foreshore with great views across the river to the Perth City skyline. There is an abundance of dining choices for all budgets in Mend Street, South Perth, plus its only a short stroll to Perth Zoo.

Always enjoy visiting Sorrento Quay, great shops, restaurants and cafes. It’s in a great location at Hilary’s Boat Harbour with a lovely beach and safe swimming. It’s an ideal place for a day out with family and friends.

The face lift the City of South Perth has done is fantastic. The new mends street jetty area is extremely family friendly. Check out the Emu and Meerkat statues, sit, relax and enjoy the river and city views or grab a coffee, drink or meal at one of the great restaurants nearby. Miss Chow’s is my favourite.

The Como Jetty is a great place to watch the Swan River . You can see the big yachts on Melville Water racing in a stiff breeze. In the adternoon, you can catch the cooling Sea Beeze, also known as the Fremantle Doctor. It's a great place for a walk on a summer's evening. You can cast a line; or you can also catch crabs if you have a net.. Getting to the Como Jetty is easy -- just walk down Preston Street and take the overpass.

The Como Beach Jetty, built 1907 and rehashed in 1982 (freeway changes) is 212 mtrs making it the longest jetty on the Swan river, a forgotten beach and ferry service still remains a popular walk trail and picnic area. Idea sunset as well as nice walk trail along the beach riverside
