Found this spot on a whim and loved it. In an old garage, Ernies is a gem on the side of the road. No cell phone use allowed makes it even more charming. Lots of brews on tap. You can even take some to go.

We loved this place. Small and personable. The host very knowledgeable. It was more than a wine testing it was a friendly casual instructive visit. Matt was excellent, he truly cares for the wines and shares his knowledge and passion with ease. We highly recommend this place. We especially loved the Shift and the Pinot Noir.

We called and picked up our takeout last night. Staci was ready with our meals when I arrived. Everything was great. I had the hummus wrap with fries and my hubby had the 49er Melt with fries. Everything was so good and filling too. When the pandemic is over, we look forward to be able to eat inside BTG again.

Sampled a few tasting rooms in Petaluma last month and this place was entertaining and fun to visit, with a nice selection of wines, a friendly host, and a nice outdoor patio to people watch. We started at the ‘crate and barrel’ tasting room across the street, but left - the place was dark and depressing - bad vibes. This place is way better, bright, fun, and a happy place to hang out and sample fine wines. Located in the center of Petaluma.
