Join the local ghosts in a walk through the historic district of Fredericksburg, Virginia, a city that claims to be one of the most haunted locales in the United States. With a long history dating back to pre-Colonial times, and a legacy of slavery and war, it is no wonder that so many unhappy phantoms wander the streets. Visit the Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, marking the spot of four bloody Civil War battles or Ferry Farm, the boyhood home of George Washington.

Beds were super comfortable but a couple of things that were a little disappointing. Shades in our room wouldn't go down all the way, allowing morning sun in the room when a bit more sleep would have been nice. No continental breakfast, but breakfast was available by pay. I would stay here again for the comfort, but a few amenities would have been nice.

When I arrived at night to book a room the lady at the front desk was courteous, however during the morning shift (around 6:00 am) the lady at the front desk didn’t know how to return my deposit because I paid with a credit card. She asked me to call someone named V over the phone for some reason and then left. I waited for her to come back and told her I had to get going and if she could just take my card key. She asked if I could wait till 11:00 am to sign out and I told her “ I have to get going”. I had know problem getting the deposit back, but after I left I was a little concerned if an ordeal was going to occur. The beds were nice and the night shift lady was professional, but the lady during the morning shift made me worry.

This Motel 6 is located off I-95 and within 5 miles of Fredericksburg Downtown, Central Park Funland, and Fredericksburg Ice Park. All rooms have a flat screen TV with expanded cable, free Wi-Fi, and wood-effect floors.
The 2nd leg route to a motel for the first time since June 2020 was an outstretched night. There was a nearby gasoline station called Exxon® and their convenience store had only drinking water, bar soap, and toilet tissue as necessary remaining bathroom essentials. The rest of our stay seems not terrific.

Upon arrival @ approximately 5:00pm on 12/27/21, I presented a coupon that we had just picked up at the welcome center for $52.99. The manager said “no more rooms at that price will be $59.00”. I agreed and he started the registration. As a courtesy I mentioned that I had tried to call the motel three times before arriving to check availability, and no one answered each time. He said the desk is always staffed and became condescending and dialed the desk with his cell phone to show me it rang. I then tried to confirm breakfast at 6:00am as stated in the ad. He stated no breakfast at all. He became very upset and said I see you will not be happy here so I will not give you a room so you do not write a bad review. Little did he know I am 79 years old and do not write reviews (positive or negative). He upset me so much that I felt I needed to let others know how he treats his senior customers. I left his building and walked to the Knight Inn motel and was registering with the clerk. She had my license and credit card in her hand when he came storming in and took my credit card from her and threw it at me saying you cannot stay here and left. I asked the clerk for his name and she would not give it to me and found he manages both places. I have never been treated in this manner, I have never been refused a room or any service. I was extremely upset, humiliated and embarrassed. I feel someone in corporate for Red Roof Inn and Knights Inn Motel needs to be aware of his attitude and how he treats customers.

Overnight stop on our way to grandson's graduation in NC. This place was quiet, clean and welcoming. No breakfast available, but there is a Hardee's and a Dunkin Donut next door on both sides. Tricia, the person at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful.

This place was absolutely disgusting. Dead bugs on floor. I had $200 in choice hotel gift cards. They would not acknowledge and said they were not set up to process. 84.00 paid for a room I was afraid to sleep in. Breakfast not fit for a dog. I will inform choice hotels next

We had friends visit us, and the next day for check out they told us we couldn’t stay there any longer after being here for two weeks. They are rude and very disrespectful. Not worth the money we’ve invested in this place. There’s only two people stayed in this room, btw there was one bed. So they will not be getting anything from us again. Absolutely horrible service. Terrible.
