Krakow is one of the most culturally and politically significant cities in Poland. It was the central site of the Nazi General Government during WWII, and there’s still a residual feeling of solemnity here that’s especially apparent during visits to the Plaszow Concentration Camp and the Oskar Schindler Factory. Both the Historic City Centre and the Jewish District are brimming with cafés, shops, and pubs, and the 10-acre Main Market Square is a medieval feast for the senses.

We stumbled upon this place on the way back to our hotel and visited most nights. Staff friendly, cosy and welcoming atmosphere, great prices, live music. What’s not to love.

This bar without a doubt is the best! As soon as you enter you feel like you've stepped back in time. The music, the furniture, glassware and atmosphere. We always make a point of sitting at the bar to interact with the staff, watch them create and enjoy our drinks. The cocktail menu is a combination of classics with a twist to some chemistry. What these guys create can only be sampled to be believed. If you thought you knew cocktails - you don't until you land here

Klub Pod Jaszczurami is the oldest students' club in this city. Through many years it had become a legend among academic cultural activities. It gathers students and alumnus of Cracow universities and helps to develop their cultural spirit. It's a place of the history and memories of incredible, unforgettable artists. This club is a place of important social and cultural events, meetings with celebrities and important personages. Moreover you can find here amazing concerts, cabarets, dancing parties, Erasmus Students gathering and theological discussions. There's a summer garden in front of the local where you can enjoy the incredible location of the club and admire the view of the Cloth Hall, the St. Mary's Basilica and the Church of St. Adalbert. There's a gothic hall in the club that is one of the five existing places in Poland that represents a stunning, gothic, asymmetric vault - which figures on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This makes the club incredibly attractive to visit. The old 'Theater 38', as a part of the club, seems to be a perfect place for organizing an integration events and parties, celebrating or some cozy meetings with friends.
Cool bar in the heart of the krakow old city! Good selection of wines, spirits and beers and very good prices! Pint of local beer cost 10zl and 1/2 pint is 8zl. Fun karaoke whilst we were there!

One of the longest acting places on the entertainment map of Cracow. It is situated just by the boulevard near the river’s Vistula bank, in Podgorze, old industrial district of the town. It consists of two storeys: on the ground level there’s a beautiful place in the spirit of calm New Orlean’s cafés and second bar with the exhibition of the XXth century press. While drinking coffee, you can spend hours gazing from this perfect viewpoint at the panorama of the Kazimierz and the Old Town or admiring scenic sunsets not seen anywhere else in Kraków. In the more spacious basement’s hall you can find another two separated rooms in which You can listen to live concerts or dance (every Friday & Saturday). This place is adorned with antique typewriters hung on the walls (it explains the name of the club, which means “The Printhouse”). Drukarnia is open every day from 9 am till the last guest. It offers a variety of unique drinks and beers, also breakfasts, sandwiches and other specials.
