Named for the river that runs through its stunning landscape, the Tarangire National Park offers visitors a unique experience of Tanzania. The park is home to the country’s largest population of elephants (during the dry season you can see herds of 300 digging in the Tarangire riverbed) and also features other native wildlife such as impalas, rhinos, and hartebeest buffalo. Though safaris are a popular attraction in the area, nature-lovers will delight in experiencing such native vegetation as the baobab tree—otherwise known as the tree of life—and the park’s complex network of swamps.

Many a childhood would have been spent playing in the world of ‘make-believe’. Within this imaginary existence many of us will have climbed and played high up in the bows and branches and, for the lucky few, built a ‘palace’ in the sky. It is this nostalgic sparkle that is all too visible in the eyes of the ‘grown-ups’ who gaze upon Tarangire Treetops for the first time. Tarangire Treetops sits serenely on the border of the Tarangire National Park, Tanzania. As you arrive at the Lodge, you are immediately greeted by a blaze of colour and a host of smiles all of which belong to the local Maasai tribesmen who have become part of the enchanting story that is Tarangire Treetops.
All I can say is: STAY HERE!!!! Forget second guessing if a treehouse is the right thing... it is! Take it from someone who has 5starred it all over the place, this is an experience not to miss. From the wonderful accommodations, private patio with a view, fresh coffee and French press in room when you wake up, your own private butler, the best food you can imagine, great drinks, beautiful surroundings with animals right in you view from the dining area or even you patio. But best of all was the staff.... happy, friendly, welcoming... made us feel comfortable and welcome from the minute we arrived, and hugs when we left. Did an in room massage with Lulu and she was wonderful. Nico helped us with everything and anything. The USB connector did not work in our room, and within 10 minutes they were there replacing it. The first dinner was outside by the fire with the Masai performing a dance for us. Treetops is about 20 minute drive into Tarangeri national park, but it is IN the Conservation area, so each day on the way to the park we saw elephants, buffalo, monkeys and much more. Worth every penny... it was our first stay of three places for our trip, and it set the bar very high for what we expected from the other two. Shower was great... beds soft, experience was priceless.

The Camp is located in a secluded area of Tarangire National Park- arguably one of Tanzania’s best national Parks. Tarangire is famed for its massive herds of elephants, true sense of wilderness, and a gentle backdrop of baobab. Its lesser visited but more intriguing park on northern circuit With only 10 guest tent including a family unit, each guest tent has en suite bathroom with shower, vanity
Perfect lodge for our safari tour, the tent rooms were so authentic and beautiful! We had a unique experience to sleep in the tarangire park, hearing so many birds and other animals during the night and also seeing elephants and giraffes walking by! We felt save and comfortable at every time for the lodge-team is very qualified to provide security of the guests. Service and hospitality were always exceptional. We highly recommend this exclusive experience in the beautiful tent lodge.

I stayed here for one night on a Lion World Tour. This place is amazing. The food was outstanding, and the entertainment (servers) were wonderful. I found the wifi to work just fine. The attention to detail in the construction of this property was gorgeous. Everywhere I looked there was something else to appreciate. Some previous reviews noted an oder from the critters, but I did not find that at all. Maybe it was the time of year. In August, it wasn't all the hot. I thought the lodging and staff were all exceptional. Yes the road is bumpy, BUT your are in a national park in the middle of nowhere. In my mind, that is part of the experience. The dinner was delicious and this lodge had one of my favorite breakfasts on the entire tour. I would have loved to stay at this lodge longer because I did not have time to enjoy the inviting pool. All the staff were wearing masks (thank you for keep us (and you) safe)! I would go to this property and stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed there for one night. The tent was clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing. The chef was very accommodating of my diet preference. You can’t charge your appliances in the tent but there is a charging station in the dining tent where WiFi is also available. Would definitely recommend.

We were the only 6 guests at the lodge for the night and were very well looked after, with waterbuck and elephant frequent visitors at the lodge the Masai are always around to escort you. We sat at the pool, had a swim and were served some fabulous popcorn, warm salted peanuts and beers and cider, it was a wonderful end to an incredible safari.

Class & Comfort in the exceptional northern Tanzania wilderness. Honeyguide Camp Tarangire is in the northern sector of one of the world's most beautiful parks, Tarangire National Park. The luxury tented safari camp at Honeyguide Camps Tarangire is surrounded by breath-taking wildlife experiences, a variety of vibrant birds and witnessing of pastel sunsets by the bonfire, all set among the famous Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famed for its massive herds of elephants, a true sense of wilderness, and a gentle backdrop of baobab, providing an authentic bush experience for guests. Honeyguide Camp is set in a grove of umbrella thorn trees with panoramic views over the vast African savanna, it enjoys an ideal vantage in the wilderness, offering adventure & luxury in a truly East African Safari Experience. Families with small kids will feel very well taken care of with super-spacious tents and staff that go above & beyond for each guest.
The Honeyguide experience in Tarangire was amazing; the hospitality was top-notch, service was impeccable, and the staff was extremely nice and attentive. To be fair to prospective residents of the Honeyguide Camp, this is definitely *glamping*… very, very nice tent accommodations, but still *tents*; but, for me (and my wife), this is the absolute best way to experience Tanzania. And, finally, the food… wow… they seriously outdid themselves with an incredible series of meals, from dawn to dusk. Would HIGHLY recommend Honeyguide to anybody that finds themselves in the Tarangire area!

Literally perched on the edge of Tarangire National Park, among trees and rock outcrops, the lodge is nestled into the cliffs and huge granite slabs. Built of natural materials, predominantly local stone, wood and burnt brick, Boundary Hill Lodge offers outstanding views over the Silale and Gosuwa swamps, where elephant and buffalo graze among the acacia and baobab trees beneath the vastness of Africa's sky.
We stayed here on our first two nights of our African safari-it's wonderful! The views are amazing, the food wonderful, and the staff so friendly and inviting, waiting to help you with whatever you need. Everyone there is genuinely so caring and knowledgeable and there to make your stay memorable-and they certainly did! I would recommend this lodge 100%! Loved it!
