Pleasant stay
Reviewed By SharonS723We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. Good to be able to travel and stay here again. Hotel very clean, however, at the moment cleaning of rooms is not daily due to health restrictions to protect guests and staff. Very good selection for breakfast. Would like to mention Alexis who keeps the breakfast area well stocked. She greets each guest cheerfully every morning. Crystal, the general manager, checked us in and took time out of her busy day to assist us using our IHG points. Excellent customer service. Hotel in good position to access expressway to get into Detroit. Would recommend this Holiday Inn Express

Reviewed By KateN805Have been staying in the location for the past 5 years while visiting family in the area. We are in the area 3-4 times a year. My early reviews commented on the friendliness of the staff, their willingness to help in anyway, the comfort of the room. Well, in 5 years it has gone from one of the most pleasant stays to one of the worst. If you go to the front desk to get something, like a towel because your room only has 1 even though the reservation was for 2 adults, you may or may not be able find someone, who may or may not be able to find a towel for you. You will definitely get scowled at either way. Breakfast is a joke - “oh we ran out of that….” We do consistently get a good night’s sleep and it is one of the most convenient locations for us, so we will probably try it a few more times and see if they can ever get away from “enhanced health measures” and go back to enhanced customer service!

Good place to stay before a ttaining

The rooms are always clean and well appointed and although the hotel is not new the rooms don’t look worn. Very good breakfast with the make your own waffles. Nothing fabulous but definitely a good location and price for business.

Reviewed By Dennis MThe hotel was very quiet. Wasn't disturbed in my room by fellow travelers or hotel staff. No super loud voices in the hallway or noise from the ice machine. However, if you are a business traveler that needs decent work space on your downtime this is not the place for you. The desk and desk chair are inadequate to say the least. I had asked the front desk for a better chair and all they had were banquet types of chairs that were straight backed.
