Reviewed By BeechviewgirlThis beautiful B&B is charming and comfortable! The owners are wonderful and accommodating. The breakfast is great. The room was large with a balcony. Most of the paintings were done by Settimia that decorated the house. We felt like we were staying with family.

Reviewed By marciab540Our group of 8 was hosted for an amazing multi course lunch by Ombretta. She owns a this beautiful inn in a small hilltop medieval village with killer mountaintop views! We didn't stay here, but she showed us the Inns' rooms. Her hospitality makes this place even more inviting. She generously spent time talking to us about the region, local food, and touring us around the small village and her property. The lunch she prepared was so delicious and featured many regional dishes and wines. It was such a warm and inviting private dining experience with a wonderful host and I will always cherish this memory. She also showed us the very old restored mill that is available to rent on her property next to a large waterfall and stream. It was so charming!

Wonderful charming b&b in a fantastic area
Reviewed By Alice VWe (my boyfriend and me) have spent two nights in the b&b and it has been overwhelming. We had a very clean and nice bedroom with a very modern and stylish bathroom. We had a wonderful view from our bedroom. The hosts baked a cake for us for breakfast. The family is in general very generous and warm-hearted. We would love to come back someday to spend another unforgettable two nights at the b&b!!

LOCATION: dipped in the green of the country, to 10Km from the historical city of Ascoli Piceno. Not away from the sea (30 minutes) and from the National Park of the Sibylline Mountains. STRUCTURE: typical structure in stone, well taken care of and furnished, endowed with ample garden, heating, saloon with fireplace and TV, kitchen with possibility of use. If it is not desired to choose the formula Bed & Breakfast is possible to rent the whole structure. ROOMS: it has 3 double rooms of which 2 whit balcony (TV, safe and possibility to add a 3° bed), baths en-suite. The service breakfast foresees the tasting of typical sweets, delicious tarts with jams done in house and salty cakes. SPORTS AND FACILITIES: walks, trekking, harvest chestnuts and mushrooms, excursions with quad on excavated roads.

Reviewed By Geert DWe stayed for one week and used La Rocca as our base for visits to the Sibillini National Park (Casteluccio is a great base for hiking, and the flowers are absolutely awesome, even at this time of the year), Civitella del Tronto (nice village & hilltop ‘fortezza’), San Benedetto Del Tronto (beach & evening market) and Ascoli Piceno, and spend a relaxing day at La Rocca’s pool. Most of the evenings we had dinner at La Rocca, and the food was simply outstanding: all fresh, homemade, very tasty and with a wide variety. Also the breakfast was very nice with a great variety of home made cakes, cookies and jam, as well as toast. Laura was very welcoming and did her very best to make sure everything would be well: room was all clean and tidy, all necessary comfort, flexibel breakfast and dinner hours, some suggestions for places to visit. Her basic English, our basic Italian and google translate did a great job to understand each other. Definitely great value for money.

needs sound proofing
Reviewed By Debbie LJuly 2014 one night. No complaints except the building needs sound proofing. We were on the ground floor and could hear every step of the person above us in her flip flops. There were people talking, not shouting and we could hear them, really annoying as it went on until 0040 (twenty to one in the morning). There is no Air conditioning and in July I would say it would be needed, we were rather hot even with the high location. The road is daunting when you first go up but it is not as bad second time round. Location is stunningly beautiful. Room had a great kitchen. Only thing was the noise travelling from other rooms. There is still work being done to complete the place and will be great once it is done (along with the sound proofing). The owners didn't speak English but with the magic on the internet my husband and them had a conversation along with the help of sign language. They brought us a cake too as there were no towels in the room when we first arrived. They are very nice and welcoming to their place, I felt they would do anything for you.

It has 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin room overlooking the passageway, each with a private bathroom with hairdryer and satellite TV. The rooms share a kitchen and a living room with another bathroom and communal TV.

Something to remember and to repeat :-) A lot of thanks to the nicest family for their hospitality, for all information help and sincere human contact! Charming and quiet house to stay, good breakfast with some extra delicious home made cakes, always in time:-) Very comfortable feelings, when all family is so open to warm communication! Thank you for our remarkable stay!!!

La signora Virginia con tutta la famiglia ha proprio il modo giusto per farti sentire coccolato ed uno di loro. Vado via con dispiacere... Situato a Rocca Fluvione a 10 minuti di macchina da Ascoli centro. Immerso nel verde e nella piena tranquillità!!A due passi dalla salaria e ben collegato per San benedetto. Qualità prezzo ottimo.Monolocale con cucina e bagno spazioso.Pulizia garantita e relax.

soggiorno breve
Reviewed By alice bAbbiamo soggiornato solo per una notte nell'appartamento che è molto grande, con spaziose terrazze, vicino al centro di Ascoli Piceno raggiungibile in pochi minuti. Ci si deve preparare la colazione autonomamente in quanto quella prevista dal prezzo consiste in latte e dolci confezionati. La struttura ha aperto da poco e forse non sono ancora ben organizzati, ma l'accoglienza è stata ottima e le indicazioni per cenare in un ristorante lì vicino sono state utili. Tiziana
