There were several problems with my reservation even though I booked directly through Holiday Inn . I had booked for 4 people in a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and weeks after the reservation was booked, they went in and tried to add an extra person charge even though we had only 4 people in the room and for one night there were only 3. It was quite a hassle to get it resolved and it should never have happened. They were just trying to gouge guests because they could due to limited options for the Coachella Festival weekends. It's disgraceful, but all the area hotels do it. Other than that, the room was nice. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The internet was extremely slow but the place was full and I'm sure everyone was online at the same time. The bedding was nice with all sheets. The room was carpeted and hard floors are my preference. If the rate was significantly lower, I would stay there again.

Long rant re: our experience tonight at Ritz Carlton, Rancho Mirage. Specifically employees Yadira Garcia, room controller, and Jose Galvan, loss prevention officer. We had a photo shoot scheduled this evening for Katelin’s quinceanara photos. I had called ahead of time to the Ritz to get approval and make sure we could do it there. The gentleman I spoke to said “no problem”. We get there tonight and there was a very, very minimal crowd. We were out of the way and not disturbing anyone. Ritz Carlton employees Jose and Yadira came out of nowhere and said we can’t take photos here it has to be approved by there social media dept. I told them I had called them and got it approved even showing them the text . They would not budge and made us leave the premises. They said we can take pictures with our phones but not a camera. What??!?!!??? Unbelievable terrible customer service. I was always taught the customer is always right. Apparently not at the Ritz Carlton. ?

Indoor and outdoor seating. Fresh American menu. Fire pits gardens make it a great gathering spot. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Staff very friendly.

Another perfect stay at the Westin! Clean property as always and very much enjoyed the upgraded rooms and main pool. Staff was incredible- especially David at the Las Hadas pool. Lastly, a huge thank you to Tom Scaramellino for personally greeting our party at the Fireside lounge Friday evening.

We stayed in 4 hotels on this trip and each one offered really professional and friendly staff members, including this one. We arrived before check in time but they found a room for us, which was very helpful. The hotel is spacious and modern looking. Our room was a good size and was clean. The area feels very safe and we walked around the hotel and adjacent area after dark without issues. This is a good location, close to many things in the Palm Springs area.

We paid a little more for a balcony room which was nice. The room was clean. For the money the hotel is way overpriced. It is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a noisy highway and busy 6 lane roads. The surroynding area is not peaceful or pretty which makes sitting out on your balcony not that great. That being said its location cant be helped but you would think either the rooms would be high end vegas style decor or the room price would be low. The rooms are pretty ordinary . So my beef is more about the room rate compared to the value and it is WAY off. I will not return.

Motel 6 Palm Springs - Rancho Mirage is located near dining, and shopping. Desert Island Golf Course is 2 miles and Historic Plaza Theatre 7 miles. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms.
One would think the location is perfect, unless you know that Motel 6 's are NEVER in a good location...A homeless man sat on the stairs outside my room and shouted for hours... Since I had to work the next day I was concerned and called the manager for help. She refused to intervene and said she could call the police...then she added.... "They will bang on my door at 2 in the morning...so do you want that?" Sounded like she was threatening me that calling the cops was worse than putting up with it. I was shocked at how I was treated like the" undesirable tenant " even though I was paying good money to stay there! They really need a rent a cop to just patrol the area so that guests are not forced to confront problems themselves. As a female I am really uncomfortable at MOTEL 6 and incensed at the rip off rates! These hotel rooms have terrible AC systems and old bathrooms. Not really that clean. I hate Motel 6 and unfortunately have to stay there for business.
