The Swissôtel Nankai Osaka is a five-star luxury hotel strategically located in the heart of Namba, Osaka’s most exciting entertainment, shopping and dining district. The hotel sits above Namba station and is the only Osaka hotel that offers a direct link to Kansai International Airport, with the Rapid Express Train taking just 30 minutes door-to-door. The nearby subway serves as a convenient mode of transportation to many of the popular tourist destinations such as historical Kyoto, the ancient capital of Nara and the picturesque Kobe; while bus hubs to include the Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) provide access to various areas in Japan. Discover Osaka's kitchen at the Kuromon Market, visit local attractions Dotonbori, Namba Yasaka Shrine and Hozenji Temple, or shop until you drop at Takashimaya, Shinsaibashi-suji or Namba Parks - all a convenient stroll away.
Very bad experience in that hotel where we are stucked due to the pandemic situation. We have been waked up by drill noises for two days because of construction Work inside the hotel building. They should not accept any guests if they are not able to offer a quiet place to rest.

The hotels location in Namba is fantastic, 5 mins walk from the train station to the hotel, in a small alley way right next to the main shopping lanes, family mart store right next door for drinks and snacks. The room is good size for Japan, the bathroom and toilet is in separate rooms, the bed and duvet is so comfortable its amazing. When you check in ask for the rooms wifi dongle or else you cant get wifi in the rooms. The breakfast is a bit boring and not much to look forward to but there is plenty to eat outside in the many many restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Arrived at the hotel earlier at about 11am due to my flight timing. This place is located about 10mins walk from JR Namba Station. It occupies the whole 3rd, 4th & 6th floor of an office-looking building. Male and female cabins have separate entrances via access passcards which feels very safe. There are safety boxes in a common area, vending machine, laundry machines, chat corners, dining area, smoking room, and Japanese bath facilities. Simple Japanese breakfast (4 dishes), cereal, juices etc for 500 yen person. Very near to Kuromon market and other street stores. Convenience store located nearby. Level B1 leads to the subway as there is no worries of rain. It’s a pity request for early check is not available (normal check in time is 3pm). Totally recommended if you are a single traveller and don’t mind the lack of door locks to your cabin room (although there is a lockable drawer under the bed. Price is reasonable (PJs and basic toiletries provided) for the First Class Cabin room that I booked for 5000 yen a night. Staff speaks understandable English.

Rooms are small but this is quite typical for business hotel rooms in Japan, so no complaints there. Staff were nice and friendly at all times. Location is brilliant not only for exploring Osaka but as a base for getting out into the Kansai region too as it is just a stone's throw from Namba Station, from which you can easily get to Nara and Kyoto. Its close to the Dotonbori area but far enough away from the real hustle and bustle that you can get some peace, 7-Eleven just down the street too which is always handy.

Conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from Namba Subway Station, Hotel Alexander Namba opened in September 2017. The hotel features free WiFi and an on-site restaurant. Every room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer. This is our guests' favorite part of Osaka, according to indep
Pluses: Excellent location in the Namba station area, close to Dotonbori and tons of shops and restaurants. Minuses: Gloomy, not an inviting place with a small reception reminding a cheap, old motel. Dirty walls in the room.Very unusual for Japan. All in all the room and the hotel don't feel clean. The beds are very hard. It was good for me, but you need to know before you book it. It was a good price for one night. Still, if I had known, I would have paid more in another place. There are millions of hotels around.

32 beds (16 bunk beds), mixed dormitory type hostel. Free wifi, 3 shower rooms, 4 wash room and common space. Amenities: rental bath towel (200 JPY), tooth brushes (100JPY), shaver (100JPY). 3 minutes from Namba station.
