If you are planning your first trip to Monte Isola, this wonderful hotel managed by Paolo and his wife Eva should be one of your first choices! Paolo has been living on the island for his whole life and is very popular among the locals for his gentleness and readiness to support. Literally, the hosts were ready to meet all our demands and expectations - for example, when I was running out of the diapers for my younger daughter they got them delivered to our room the very same evening. Also worth mentioning are the breathtaking Lake Iseo views from the room and from the huge terraces. After putting my kids to bed, I was running there every night to enjoy a couple of hours just watching the water on my own. The room was perfectly cleaned every morning, and all the COVID precautions were duly in place for our whole stay. I wish we could have stayed longer than a week - this was the first time (after quite a while) when I seriously did not want to get back home after the holidays ? To make the long story short: strongly recommended!

We stayed here for a week in August and the island location is wonderful. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and our two bedroom apartment was light, airy, clean and had stunning views. The building is quirky & interesting and the gardens were nicely ‘unmanicured’ with hammocks swinging between the olive trees. Sadly, however, the swimming pool and surround is very tired and rather uninviting, it’s definitely in need of a facelift! The outside dining terrace has wonderful views. There was a nice choice of food available for breakfast but it was not outstanding. We ate in the hotel on a couple of evenings. The first meal was delicious - the pasta served with truffle oil was particularly delicious. On the second occasion, however, the hotel was also hosting a ‘corporate entertainment’ dinner (something that seemed to happen quite regularly during our stay) and this definitely detracted from our enjoyment - affecting both the service and ambience. Overall the hotel is in a great location with lovely staff. With a bit of tweaking it is potentially a ‘five star’ boutique hotel but at the moment it is failing to reach its full potential.

Marina is a top of the line super helpful in navigating the small town. When the bus wasn't running she offered to drive me down with her Vespa. Breakfast was great. It felt like I was staying with family. The location is also to die for with a gorgeous vista. Yes, there isn't much to do at the top of the hill, but the whole point of a vacation is to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Welcome to B&B Tina! We are pleased to welcome you to our bed and breakfast: well-decorated and cosy, you will definitely feel at home! Enjoy silence, warmth, freshness, relaxation, wellbeing and energy with our delicious breakfasts in our bed and breakfast! We want to treat you to total serenity at the most important times of the day: bed and breakfast. So we are waiting for you!
Stayed there for some nights. Not quite what we were hoping for. Positives - wifi was good - terrace was beautiful - rooms were ok Negatives - lots of ants invading the room - Ac not working - not really personal or cosy - lots of noise from vespas Basically we were ok with everything except the ants, that was really disgusting. We will not stay here the next time. If you decide to go, make sure you organize transportation, it's a long walk to the other side of the island.

Romina has converted her grandparents' house (her grandfather was a lake fisherman) into a really charming B&B. She has four rooms, two on each floor: on one floor, there is a room with a bathroom en suite, & the other room with a bathroom to itself but outside the room; the other floor has two rooms with a shared bath, perfect for a family. There are photographs of her grandmother repairing the fishing nets & one of her mother as a young girl. Romina is certainly what I would call a "super host." Upon arrival we had an "orientation" about the island reviewing the sights with us with a map of the island. Because of the pandemic, breakfast is served in your room and is hearty and delicious. Perhaps a note of caution: since it is an old house, there are stairs and it might not be the right choice for the elderly or persons with mobility issues.

Posizione favolosa, innanzitutto.

I've been with a group of friends at this accomodation, one night (November 4). First of all, we wrote mails and send calls one day before, but no answer. It's pretty uncomfortable not knowing if you'll have a place to sleep or not on such a small island. When we got there...nobody was at the hotel. Our rooms were unlocked but not a single person to talk to or to show us how to use the rooms. The extendable sofa was impossible to figure out so we slept on a mattress at the floor. The bed linens were dirty. When we called the owner to change them he send a child (who didn't speak any english) to solve the problem. When we got there it was so cold and the AC is as complicated as the extendable sofa so we spend 2 hours trying to warm the rooms. There were spiders and spider webs all over the rooms as the hotel wasn't used for a long time. After all this we had to pay 30 euros/apartament for cleaning. Why do you need to pay this fee when the rooms are dirty???
