Room was ok. Bathtub paint was chipping. I did not feel comfortable taking a shower. TV was more updated, but there weren't many channels, and the few that worked were no sound. The light did not work in the shower. I know we are in the age where we have iwatches and cell phones, but the clock didnt work, not that much of a big deal but it would have been nice. Rooms overall need a serious serious upgrade. New bedding, new floors, bathroom, light fixtures. Workers need better pay so they will be motivated to clean better.

This hotel is run down and poorly ran. The front desk manager needs a course in customer service. The refrigerator in my room was leaking water on the carpet which already had an odor. When I complained and demanded that the refrigerator be replaced. She got nasty with me and told me that I can check out if I do not like the way things are! Guess what? I did and do not recommend that no on else use this nasty place. The furniture is stained and run down with a odor. The ice machine did not work and the odor in room 119 was awful. The Monroe County Health Department should consider closing this facility down until improvements are made. Will never ever stay in this dump again. Furthermore, the Radisson Hotel chain should consider removing its name from this facility . It is a total embarrassment to the chain. I repeat do not stay there.

this is a very old and out dated. its now all non smoking but the smell of cigarettes is really strong and bad. so bad that it ruined my cpap machine and mask and hose. because now that smell is in there and i cant get it out so thats over 1,000.00 of equipment ruined. if the owner would just shampoo the carpets furniture and mattresses and curtians and air out the rooms it might help. and update the toilets to chair height and get rid of the midget toilets. and steam clean the ac units because they reeks of cigarettes as well. now i have to save up for a new cpap machine. meanwhile im getting an infection in my sinuses and lungs!

My home was ravaged by hurricane Zeta. My town and myself included are currently left without power. I made a reservation from 30 October until November 7th. I stayed the first night, no issues. The next night, I walked up to my room to notice From the window that there was someone lying in bed watching tv. The hotel had given my room away because I didn’t leave anything in the room. The next hotel I could reserve for the night was 2 hours from my home! They offered to pay for me a room at a hotel nearby. I had no choice but to accept it. That hotel was not of any quality. You can smell marijuana as you walk past the rooms. A lot of people were hanging around in the parking lots too. Directly behind a gas station; just a scary place to be. The furniture was not clean as well. The Mockingbird was not all that clean either. The shower didn’t look as tho it was cleaned and it had hair on the walls. My Uncle died from COVID-19 today. I really just wanted to go to my hotel room and relax after having such a long day. This place completely added to my stress. Did I mention that this hotel was already an our from my home. Stay far away unless you’re into making your day a lot harder than it has to be. I’m so drained!!

My daughter and I were in Monroeville for the evening and didn't expect to have to stay but due to a bad storm we did. I wanted someplace safe and cheap. It was an older motel but clean and felt safe. The owners are on premises. Don't know if it's true butt I also read that was the motel that Gregory Peck stayed when he visited Monroeville before filming To Kill A Mockingbird. I would stay there again.

We checked in at noon on a Friday. The lady at the counter was super friendly. We got a king room, exactly like we had reserved. I had also requested a 1st floor room on my reservation and they responded a day later that my request was granted. This was the first time ANY hotel/motel had responded to my request with a follow-up email. The room was very nice, the bed oh so comfortable. Big screen TV. Nicely remodeled room. Breakfast in the morning was a little sparse, but it was OK. The price was fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend the America's Best Value Inn in Monroeville.

The hotel rooms are dirty, stained carpet, and better furniture can be found beside the road that someone threw away. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful. The desk clerk had a hat on that said F*CK IT. I have called 2 times on my first night & 3 times on my second night because my TV doesn’t work. Still waiting !! I expect better out of a Choice Hotel & I am platinum member with over 40 nights a year.
