Villa Maija is located in Hanko, the sunniest and southernmost part of Finland. Spending a night in a nineteenth century villa is an experience you'll never forget. Not only can you spend your vacation here but Villa Maija also offers good surroundings for conferences and family celebrations. All rooms have been carefully modernized so that the original historical atmosphere is preserved. Each room has a bathroom with shower, AC, TV, and refrigerator. Many restaurants and shops are close by, and the same goes for the guest harbour and beach.
Villa Maija is located perfectly in between buzzling Eastern Harbor and Hanko Casino. The building is 130 years old and well restored. There less than 10 rooms and our room M6 was a nice one located in the upper floor. Whilst the rooms is quite basic, it is clean, spacious and functional. The fridge is convenient but so noisy. All the a/c works very effectively. Bathroom is recently renovated. Also the balcony with glass door is very convenient until late autumn. The breakfast was table served with 3 options (classic, nordic and vegetarian); all were tasty. Sadly only filter coffee (from thermos container) was available while espresso based coffees would lift the experience to the right level. The service was friendly. Overall, nice and cozy stay.

Housed in an old police station in Hanko city centre, Hotel Bulevard offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with individual 1960s-style decor inspired by Finnish designers. Also apartments with romantic interior about 300m from the hotel. Hanko Beach is 100 metres away. All guest rooms at Bulevard Hotel have a work desk and a flat-screen TV. Many rooms include a bathrobe and a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities.
Beautifully located, and beautifully (but silmply) renovated old building, warm service, ok breakfast, clean, but quite basic rooms. All this very good (and rerflects the 3* rating the hotel has. The problem is the prices: one weekend nigh 195 euros (or even more). If you want to go to the Spa, that makes 50 euros more. Hence the value is not very good.

Lifestyle hotel in Art Nouveau building from 1898 in the south point of Finland. Hotel is designed by famous finnish architect Lars Sonck and totally renovated 2012. Nice easygoing atmosphere for leisure, incentive and meeting guests. We have combined the historical grounds with modern and relaxed boutique hotel style. Hotel is non-smoking and airconditioned, all rooms are individual and furnished with a timeless style. Good location;50m to the beach,200m to the restaurants by the harbour, cycle rent 200m, tennis courts 400m,golf course 8km,the biggest lighthouse (Bengtskar) in the Scandinavia 1,5 h by boat. Hanko "slow city" themes are available all year round. Relax, catch your breath, try activities, enjoy good food and pamper yourself and your dear ones with the help of professionals on wellness.
We had a business trip and had booked our reservation for 3 nights in hotel’s premium rooms at Regatta Spa Hotel almost a half year before. When we arrived the hotel, the receptionist told us that they had double-booked our rooms and we could stay for only 2 nights! The receptionist did not give any other options how we could stay in Hanko, and coldly said that ”this was a human error they sometimes have and some of their workers have changed our reservations” and they cannot do anything! They promised us to try to find a solution, but no one ever contacted us! After we had waited and repeatedly asked for a solution how we could stay, we had to re-schedule our trip and go back home a day before planned. The hotel never offered any refund for their mistake, and the service was very cold and machinery, which is very unacceptable for a this level hotel! I will never come back to this hotel and can’t recommend to anyone!

Quiet motel, simple decor. Size of room was about 17 square meters. I am not giving this review 5 stars because you have to use common bathrooms. The bar area is very rustic. Motel is about 1 km away from the city centre (central park) , and approximately 1.5 km to the beach.

We drove by bikes to Hanko and almost missed the guesthouse because the employee left at 8 pm. We made it, thank god. It's Swedish speaking area but the receptionist spoke Finnish only. That wasn't a problem for us. The room was average, not tidy, nor dirty. Worn. Still the beds and pillows were surprisingly good. There were towels but no toiletries. Breakfast was good. If you're satisfied with the moderate, this is ok place for you.
