Clean, tidy, easy access, hot water, comfortable beds. Quiet and peaceful location! There is a big park and a restaurant outside. The staff is friendly and polite. TO be honest it is the best value for the money we paid. My boyfriend and I loved it!!!

The hotel-restaurant is simple and sober but my room was very spacious and had all I needed. The 2-persons bed was good, there is a couch and a small desk, Wifi worked well and service is friendly. The room and the hotel itself looks quite old, and the bathroom needs some upgrade, but it was not bad at all and especially the space of the room is big. Worth the money. The only thing I wanna say, apart from that I would recommend this hotel if you go to Gorna, is: DON'T go to Gorna Oryahovitsa, as it is one of the most ugly and depressing places I have seen in Bulgaria. Sorry to mention that, but it's true.

Hotel Rahovets is located in Gorna Oryakhovitsa, Tsarevets Fortress is a 5-minute drive away. 200 metres from the bus station and just 50 metres from the main shopping street. It offers free Wi-Fi.The air-conditioned rooms at the Rahovets are fitted with cable TV, ironing facilities and a private bathroom with bath or shower. Some have a balcony. Free table tennis. Room service. Private parking.
The hotel is at the center of the town, but unfortunately not recently renovated. There is a restaurant with clasic meals and nothing special. The hotel is appropriate for short-term stay in the town, because of the conviniance of the place where is situated.

Spa hotel Ambaritsa - you can find us very easy - just follow our unique night lights. Hotel, spa, sky bar, cafe bar, pizza, tavern with live music, childrens playground. 3 miles away from Veliko Tarnovo.
This hotel does not appear to have non-smoking rooms, which means that non-smokers have to endure the smell of smoke everywhere, even when they get into bed and pull the sheets up tight around themselves to stay warm, only to find that the sheets smell of cigarette smoke. Cold floors and a bathroom design that means you should do everything else before you shower because not all rooms have shower curtains (I compared notes with colleagues staying there). The fan heater situated on the ceiling does work but recirculates air that smells of (you guessed it) smoke. The reception staff were helpful enough with their varying levels of English. Breakfast would be best described as "spartan" in terms of the variety.
