Solid service, convenient, close to the airport
Reviewed By KandyKane056I stayed on this hotel for work as it is the preferred vendor for my company. It is convenient as it is 10 min from the airport, there is a shuttle you can call for pickup and drop-off and is in walking distance (or a 1 stop bus ride) to the World Trade Center buildings. The room felt small as European hotels do, but I had room to put my luggage in the closet and 1 against the wall and had room to walk around the bed and the desk. The room was very clean and has what you need (except a microwave) but in some parts it shows its age and could use some freshen up. Even the tub looked stained in some areas even thoguh it was clean. The shower worked perfectly well and had good water pressure. I didn't like that the tub is so high up, it might be difficult for some people to get in and out as you have to pull yourself up. The room also had a small coffee machine and a lockbox and some storage room in the closet, but not much. The bed was comfortable and once you close the shades it was very dark. The only negatives is the noise from the street and of course the planes landing. I ate breakfast there, it is served in Le Jardin and it is a buffet with a full English breakfast, cereal, yogurt, muesli, croissants, some fruits and some salads, there is also coffee, tea and juice. It is nice to eat outside if the weather cooperates. On my last day, I stored my luggage in the hotel and picked it up after work. The hotel still dropped me off for work. One big positive is the free transit card to take the bus. Bus 10 can take you to the lake, old town and Balexert mall pretty quickly since it stops 1 block from the hotel.

Reviewed By Jennifer IStayed here overnight on business. They have a handy regular minibus to pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Only takes 10 minutes. The checkin staff were welcoming and made the process very smooth. My room had a nice double bed and mini Fridge with free water bottles. The bathroom had a nice big rain shower head and they provided plenty of toiletries too. Breakfast was hot and cold self service and tasted fine. They have newspapers in reception seating area. I noticed they have an evening bar and restaurant too. They gym is equipped with plenty of equipment in good condition. A water cooler and yoga mat would have been nice. There's also a relaxing area next to the sauna with mood lighting which was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again. Didn't get charged for a later checkout either.

Reviewed By ikonyalI really enjoyed my stay at Ibis Budget Geneve Aeroport. I did the booking online and the staff really assisted me, even when the dates of travel kept changing. The staff are friendly and speak English as well, so I didn't have to struggle to communicate in French! The payment terms were friendly as I paid on arrival. They even gave me a room on the upper floors on request. I recommend this hotel to all.

Still waiting for my money back and a reply I did book now pay later as i have a week until pay day- but now they have taken my money despite it being book now pay at the property- they've left me with nothing in my bank and haven't replied yet about when they are giving my money back!!

Reviewed By MaryK2013Basic hotel, pretty good location, close to tram and lake. The breakfast was cheap produce but adequate. However, in a three day visit the room was only cleaned once, we had to request fresh towels. The shower had to be hand held as the mooring for it was broken, black out curtains didn’t quite fit so woke up early with the sun. The outside garden space was lovely but we we weren’t allowed to stay out there past 10.30pm. Female receptionist wasn’t friendly at all.

Reviewed By Nathalie GWe booked two rooms in this hotel because it was close to the airport where we had to catch a flight at 6 AM. The corridors are long, sad and dark, the rooms are poorly furnished, with old and ugly furniture, the windows giving on a noisy boulevard are very dirty. My daughter sat on the bed and it collapsed. The bathroom door was rotten by humidity. And while I was in the shower, the water did not run inside but outside and bathes the floor. The staff is nice but not numerous enough so that when you go to reception asking them to come and repair they can not move, since there is no one else. They tried to call the manager, but there was no answer. The price 200 euros for one room only can not be justified.
