Reviewed By Argo5Staying in this historic hotel is an experience all in itself. The area is beautiful, peaceful and the town is like something out of a movie. The rooms are simply done but comfortable, and though it is true that you can hear people talking out in the hall, but it is such a delight to live in this building with its beautifully renovated turn-of-the-century furnishings that you don't really mind.

Reviewed By WolstinDecorated in the traditional Swiss mountain style, the Piz Ela is a cosy and welcoming hotel with a wonderful, wood-panelled dining room and a library. The food and service were great, and guests can also dine under the huge pine trees in the garden, weather permitting. We were made most welcome and will certainly return. We especially enjoyed meeting the two hotel cats, Ruby and Lily. Highly recommended.

Tasty supper with delicious local products
Reviewed By Jaune LGood place to taste a fine and tasty local cuisine and products in a typical atmosphere. I would recommand the risotto and the Albula valley trout fillet. Friendly staff however less in busy time which can be understandable.

Plain & simple but good
Reviewed By AntajoWe were looking for a simple base for our hiking holiday end of August and found it with the Hotel Albula. After two nights in the hotel we did a tour with two nights at alpine huts and we were welcomed back in the hotel afterwards - it wasn't problem to stay for just one night even during hight season. A place with very good price/performance ratio (for Swiss conditions), good breakfast buffet, friendly staff and just 5 minutes from the station.

A family owned business in a magical location
Reviewed By dalbravoThis place was perfect for our first time skiing and sledging. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. Our room had a balcony and a beautiful view of the mountains. It is 2 minutes away from the train station so it is extremely convenient when sledging. And it is 3 minutes away from the downtown which is extremely adorable . Dinner was delicious and the portions were big! We cannot wait to go back again!

Reviewed By kcirtapscheWir haben bei wunderbarem Spätsommerwetter eine schöne Woche im Reka-Dorf Bergün verbringen dürfen. Nach einer herzlichen Begrüssung und dem Infoabend (sehr zu empfehlen, um einen Überblick über die Anlage, das Dorf und weitere wichtige Punkte zu gewinnen!) konnten unsere Ferien mit dem zweijährigen Sohn starten. Ob in der Anlage selber (Spielplatz, Minigolfbahn, Kleinbahn, Hallenbad) oder in und um Bergün herum - wir wussten immer etwas anzustellen und die Zeit verging im Flug. Mit absoluter Überzeugung können wir das Rekadorf Bergün weiterempfehlen!

Reviewed By Andrea BLeider ist die Unterkunft erst auf den zweiten Blick zu erkennen, dies war früher wohl ein angesagtesten Sporthotel, das den Lauf der Zeit übersehen hat. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Vermieterin freundlich, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren, bekamen wir ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Absolut zum weiter empfehlen.
