Reviewed By Alejules1We stayed at the hotel when it first opened and decided to come back since our first experience was good. We were not disappointed this time either. All the employees were friendly and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a rooftop bar but we were on a lower floor so we were not disturbed. We enjoyed drinks at the bar and breakfast. All good. It was rainy so we did not get to enjoy the pool which looked nice. The location was fine. A bit removed from where other hotels are but convenient and close. Give the hotel a try. I think you will like it.

Good location and nice pool area, but showing some wear & tear
Reviewed By HendersongalMy family stayed at the Aloft Aventura during the first part of a Florida trip to visit family. It was Spring Break week and Passover so this hotel provided an affordable option in a convenient location. Overall, a decent stay. Here's some details.... Check-in - We arrived very early in the day after a delayed red eye flight from Nevada. After picking up our rental car, I called and asked if there was any way we could get an early check-in. They let us know that they already had a room ready for us! This was much appreciated after a tiring night of travel. I also asked ahead of time about the parking situation, which she explained (detailed below). Once we arrived and parked, our check-in only took a couple of minutes. Parking - I'll explain the parking as some of the reviews mentioned how it was confusing / wasn't described on the website. The parking garage is directly across the street and the entry is around the corner. When you first arrive, just enter the garage and get a ticket from the machine. Then bring this ticket to the front desk when checking in. They will validate it and this will be what you use your entire stay. You can come and go as you please with the daily parking charge. When you want to re-enter the garage, don't take another ticket, just scan the one you got validated at the entrance. It actually was very easy. There are stairs and an elevator on the corner near Grazzianos. Location - Location is good in that it is near just about anything you could need. Grocery stores, wal-mart, target, mall, etc all very close. We walked to the Whole Foods and it wasn't a bad walk at all. The complex this hotel is within is a few buildings with offices and condos. All have street-level restaurants ranging from Starbucks to Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The area was packed every night we were there. Not enough to cause any noise issues though. Beach is not far as well, but there was quite a bit of traffic getting there. Not sure if this is all the time or maybe because it was spring break. Room - We stayed in room 609, which was away from the elevator and overall very quiet. The room wasn't large as others have mentioned, but I've stayed in NYC and European hotel rooms much smaller. The problem with the rooms is its use of space. It's basically divided in two - a sleeping area and the bathroom. The sleeping area has the beds and "tables" affixed to the wall. Everything else, including drawers, closet, fridge, etc are on the bathroom side. All the main lighting is on the bathroom side (bedroom side has small bed lamps and uplighting) so the room can be quite dark. On the flip side, the pull-down shades for the two windows kept out alot of light which is great if you're trying to sleep late. As others have said the shower is pretty bad. It's located very high up so by the time water gets to short people like myself there just isn't a lot of pressure. The smart TV has netflix so that's always a plus. We all found the beds to be very comfortable and slept quite well. Unfortunately as others have mentioned the AC is very loud. We did get used to it but I could see it being a problem if you're a light sleeper. Amenities - The pool is very nice and heated to a really pleasant temperature. Unfortunately, there was work being done at the pool which was loud, but we were able to zone it out. Hopefully that wraps up soon. My daughter and I were playing cards on the deck one evening and we were kicked out at 10, even though signs said it was open until 11. The lobby area has some nice seating and games, including billiards which we enjoyed after being kicked off the pool deck. There is free coffee in the lobby - yay! Overall impressions - Definitely a bit of wear and tear on some furniture and paint. I don't think it's that old of a hotel so that seems odd. Staff were generally friendly and attentive. We did have one maintenance issue in our room which was quickly addressed when we notified the front desk. Still not sure if I'd return - would probably do so if price were right.

I want to give special thanks to Tomas, that everythime that me and my family had dinner and lunch he was extremely knowledgeble about the menu and extremely welcoming and also to Cameron that checked us in. I hope we will be able to stay at this property again in the near future.

very very noisy place to stay
Reviewed By WDilkLevithe condos are moderately well-kept up with, depending on owner. neighborhood is great, but this community itself is incredibly noisy. Even if you stay for a day/night (stayed for 4), you will be annoyed by the level of noise. Power leaf-blowers for no reason all afternoon & dogs barking at night without owner control. walls are thin so if you stay under a condo with a pet...good luck.
