Had a really lovely time staying here last minute, the room was lovely and so was the hotel itself! I made use of the spa facilities and had a really relaxing last minute night away. The staff were so lovely, both at the main reception and at the spa. Very accommodating & easy to chat to- one staff member in particular stood out above the rest on the main reception, however, and that was the receptionist, Emily! She was so kind and incredibly helpful, going as far as making some recommendations to me of things to do in the area when I commented that I wasn’t really sure of what to do with my day after checking out. She really went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Thank you so much to her! All in all, a lovely little trip away that boosted my spirits.

Built for the Churchill family, the fountain and sweeping 15-acre landscaped grounds flank a spectacular red brick Queen Anne mansion. Peaceful sophistication is the order of the day... dine in FORK Restaurant overlooking the manicured gardens or enjoy seasonal afternoon tea on the terrace whilst sipping a glass of Pimms! Just 1.5 miles from Ascot Racecourse and train station, 8 miles from Royal Windsor, 2 miles from Wentworth Golf Club, 13 miles from London Heathrow Airport and within 8 miles of the M25, M4 and M3, the Royal Berkshire is perfectly situated for short breaks away, corporate events and meetings and fabulous weddings and ceremonies!
We had the pleasure of attending a family wedding recently at the Royal Berkshire Hotel. The grounds are a perfect setting and the staff made sure everything else was perfect too. Lily at Reception was especially helpful sorting out our satnav problems and arranging early check in after our long journey.

Each of our boutique hotel rooms is timber lined with bespoke furniture, sourced from all over the world. Each room has their own Nespresso machines for fresh coffee and tea as well as mini bar facilities, Roberts radios, flat screen TV an complimentary super-fast WiFi throughout the building.
This hotel has really raised the bar and compared with other hotels that I have stayed in it ranks in the top ten. The staff followed all COVID rules which made me feel very safe. When I requested extra supplies of milk they left them in a basket outside my door and even sent me some delicious pastries. The room was fully equipped with everything one could need for a stay away from home. As for the breakfast, what can I say? The breakfast menu was the most extensive I’ve seen, catering for every possible taste and dietary needs. The first morning I had brioche with avocado, poached egg (perfectly cooked), smoked salmon, rocket & basil pesto and roasted pumpkin seeds. The second morning I had the same as the previous day but swapped the salmon for bacon. If you stay here DO NOT skip breakfast they cater for Vegetarian, vegan, Gluten-free free and serve gluten free alternatives I would like to say a special Thank You to Pippa who went the extra mile to ensure my family, including a 14 month old baby had everything we needed. Pippa saw us struggling with the baby and she brought us an extra napkin which we didn’t have to ask for. When the baby dropped some food on the floor she ran over to our table, again without being asked and cleaned the floor. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so very special. Kim Mallinder Mudway

Stayed as a family, taking two rooms for one night and was more than pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a great position for Ascot & Windsor. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of lovely hot water, even free parking ! Although the breakfast is only continental it is more than adequate. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Situated in the natural daylight, the drawing room is the most perfect spot to have a cup of tea (glass of Verve Champagne) in the beautifully designed Drawing Room, experiencing afternoon tea hidden away in the woodlands of the Berkshire countryside. It was my first ever "high tea" and one to remember. It's a British tradition and what better and memorable place to experience it. The highlight was actually Laurence playing on the piano - just wonderful music - including from a range of musicals. Absolutely sensational and made the afternoon just magical. To celebrate HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we had the special menu, Champagne Afternoon Tea - fluffy scones, English strawberry and vanilla Pavlova and the Coworth signature chocolate ‘perfection’. SANDWICHES (all delicious and we had an extra servce) Royal Legbar egg mayonnaise with summer truffle Coworth Coronation chicken Severn & Wye smoked salmon with rocket Cucumber and cream cheese with dill FRESHLY-BAKED SCONES (loved the gooseberry jam) Served with gooseberry and elderflower jam and clotted cream PASTRIES (with the signature chocolate perfection simply amazing) Coworth signature chocolate ‘perfection’ English strawberry and vanilla pavlova Victoria sponge with raspberry jam Platinum peach melba Tea was free flowing with "fresh mint" beautiful. Service was warm and attentive.

Played in a small society golf day today. Have to say thanks to all the staff , green keepers restaurant staff etc they make this place magical. The course is as special as it gets , I have visited Augusta and this place is in its own right up there with the best. Played the old course brilliant layout fair and relentless a golfers dream . Perhaps one day I will be lucky enough to play the new course. Lasting memory drove the green on one of the short par fours and still made a 6 ?

Booked 2 rooms for 1 night to make our trip to Lapland UK easier as we travelled from Yorkshire. Eventually found it, and didn't need the code given. On arrival was informed i had only booked 1 room. ( Booked 2!) But was kindly offered an apartment around the corner. Apartment was great. Large with plenty of equipment. 2 large bedrooms, large living room & kitchen. Sky tv/ wi-fi. Very close to the racecourse if needed. No complaints. Would book again if needed.
