Reviewed By gelu77The best motel hotel ever i see magnificent is little castle.. if you came night is spoky like in horror movies nobody on road a little village only 8 km between customs with Bulgaria you didn’t aspect some hotlw to be in a little village like this many Taverna in 20m and very good food and cheap ..rooms and hotel Splendid is a retro vintage like xv century and very clean and water and very good wine from the house free.. Oooo and don’t forget brekfast included and you pick what you want to eat and is served in the room like moost big hotels only 40€ per night 3 person room

Reviewed By Manolis MWe visitied the place just for the spa. A wonderful exceirence, very clean, very efficient, friendly atmosphere. The spa area is unique and especialy the old byzanine spa. Certainly recommended. We will go again as we have been in the past.

Reviewed By ckU5131YUSo this is my first review and I wanted to put this info out there because it ruined our experience and at the end of our stay we couldn't get away fast enough!! I actually sighed up just to write this review..We visited in winter so it was off season. The concept of this wooden hotel is nice.But the wooden rooms are attached in rows of tree or four.They desperately need soundproofing.We were there four nights had a room at the end of a row.The first night was wonderful. Nice staff good enough food...Peace and quite.Or so we thought.Day two we got neighbors checking in and it all went down hill from there.We could hear EVERTHING going on next door.Their conversation and laughter the bathroom door opening and closing their toilet flushing they TV their foot steps.And its not that they were particularly loud.You get the picture and yes we had acoustics of them having s*x at 4am in the morning waking us up.So.If you are not into all the annoyance of so much sound around its a great place to stay.Also just keep in mind that the rest of the village was shut down.A mini market is available and two three places we found open to eat at.The hammams are located in another hotel down the road.I know next time to pick another hotel at least.TAKE CARE

Reviewed By ignatescua2014I wholeheartedly recommend you to stay at this hotel, it's something you rarely meet, you have the impression that you are staying in a castle, it is located in a mountain area with a great view, medieval style furniture, very clean, everything tastefully decorated, very friendly staff! Food is diverse and very good!

It is popular for its healing water springs and its byzantine sights as the old clock and everybody’s favorite, the ‘hamam’. A beautiful site that combines relaxation with wellness, action with nature and accommodation with gastronomy. The traditional guest house consists of four rooms and a common area of reception and breakfast. It is built entirely from local stone and wood. Our culture and aesthetics instill in our guests the warm feelings of a home atmosphere, hospitality and upscale services. Our rooms are spacious, offer modern amenities and are equipped with fireplaces; their high quality furnishings and the exceptional décor create a feeling of nobility and peacefulness, which makes them ideal for romantic evenings as well as relaxing moments with the family.
Nice decoration and friendly staff
Reviewed By simbalemimWe have been there for 2 nights. The room was nice warm and clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast area was cold although there been a stove. We had breakfast with our jackets on. There was a small buffet with sweets bread marmalade and cheese orange juice and coffee and they bring you to the table one fried egg. In my opinion this was poor. In our room was a fireplace but other rooms had jacuzzi. I went for a bath and the water was really cold. The answer of the owner was that the rooms with the jacuzzis take all the hot water and it was finished. The services was low for the price.

Wonderful place for a short stay
Reviewed By Catalin SExcellent accommodation. Super chill and relaxing. Plus thermal waters. Plus super friendly hosts. The breakfast was excellent for 5 euros pet person. The price is a bust for Greece for so nice conditions. There is no ac, only ventilators, but, surprisingly, in August, I haven't felt the need to use the ventilators withers during the night. Open windows were enough. And the air was crisp and somewhat cold. And we felt like we slept under the open skies. With bird songs and cicadas solos... Nice stop in the mountains on the road to the sea
