Located in Byblos, the museum is a place of memory which aims to promote the common values & principles of humanity. As part of its remembrance activities on the occasion of the commemoration of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia has commissioned the building of this cultural facility thanks to the active sponsorship of the Bezikian family.
I stopped here for about an hour and was very impressed. The museum does a thorough and professional job of covering the Armenian Genocide and the related issues pertaining to orphans. There is English signage throughout the museum and the exhibits are very informative. I would estimate that the museum is weighted 80% to the genocide and 20% to the history of the orphans. Highly recommended.

Khan Sacy has undergone a series of modifications and tells part of the city's past. In its heart, it hides a much older story. This Khan is in the old city of Saida inside the City walls. It goes back to the Crusader period and then to the Mamluks. It is composed of rooms of a majestic height with three water wells, three hammams and an oven.
This is the kind of hidden gem that we love in Saida's old souks, where you push a small door with unclear expectations, and you find yourself wandering around in a beautiful Khan and taking a trip down memory lane. The beauty of the place is in its lighting, the water well, the hammams, and even the rooftop where you have a nice overview of the Souks terraces and roofs - although pay attention to the stairs that take you up .. The Khan used to be merged with the palace next door into the same house, and it gives another perceptive of the crusade's architecture, and the evolution since then.. I attended a nice concert there, and loved both the mood and the set up, both were very charming.

Historical place, war museum.
Visited a few days ago on day trip to south Lebanon from Beirut Museum is very well laid out with plenty to see from the wars over the years with israel Entry was 7000LL and upon entering you get a rundown on the site from a well informed guide You then get a video introduction from Hassan nasrallah before you can view the outdoor museum which consists of captured Israeli tanks/guns etc etc. You can also view bunkers that were used in hezbollah attacks The whole place is perched on the side of a hill that offers stunning unobstructed views of south Lebanon There is also a little snack bar there and a hezbollah souvenir shop If you find yourself in south Lebanon it is certainly worth an hour of your time to visit and try to understand the war of the south , I would certainly recommend a visit

Situated on the coast of the Mediterranean, in the North of Lebanon stands the Nabu Museum. Named after the Mesopotamian patron god of literacy, the museum offers an exceptional permanent collection of Bronze and Iron Age artifacts representing Roman, Greek, Byzantine, Phoenician and Mesopotamian, and contemporary Lebanese cultures in addition to rare manuscripts and ethnographic material.
Beautiful space on the shoreline that stands out from the scenery. Highly recommend for the amazing architecture and diverse items on display there
