Antalya is the fastest-growing city in Turkey, and tourists from around the world are discovering its fabulous mix of great beaches and traditional Turkish culture. Kids will love the Beach Park, which features Aqua Land (a waterslide-fanatic's dream) and Dolphin Land (home to dolphins, sea lions and white whales). Make sure to explore the old town center and to see Hadrian's Gate.

Approximately 34 kilometers northwest of Antalya lies Termessos and the beautiful Güllük Dagi National Park. The ancient Psidian city is built on a mountain platform, surrounded by pine woods and an abundance of rare plants. It’s one of the best preserved historical sites of Turkey and, due to its isolated location, an oasis of calm and tranquility.
This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. If you are thinking of doing something a little more cultural while you're in Turkey - do THIS!

The historical site of Perge, 18 kilometers east of Turkey, holds the vast remains of what was once the most propserous city of the ancient world. Enter by passing through the arch of the Roman Gate to be greeted by an amphitheater, the Hellenistic Gate (quite well preserved) and richly decorated remains of the city wall and much more.
Perge is great. In fact it was captured by Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC. Then it became a has-been when the river serving the bustling port silted up leaving the harbour 12k from the sea, about as useful as a lighthouse in the desert. The Romans left and nothing else happened until excavations began in 1947 and this gem of a city was slowly revealed. Excavations and reconstruction work continue to this day. I last visited in 2011 since when the North Gate, a major East-West colonaded street and a nymphonium have been opened along with access to the Acropolis on top of the hill. It boasts a Triumphal Arch, 14k seat amphitheatre and 12k seat stadium, marble-columned colonades, decorative fountains and a waterway cascading down the main street. It's better appointed than most present-day High Streets. Highly recommended if you are in Antalya.

To get to this beach is directly on the D400 coastal road, amazing views! Depending on what direction you are coming from there is a little bridge connecting 2 mountains, looks spectacular. To access the beach you must walk down around 200 stairs which isnt too bad. Disabled people in a wheelchair cannot get here which is a real shame, disabled access would be a plus. I have a disability but used a walking stick to help me which wasnt too bad. You are able to rest on a small foot bridge halfway down and admire the beauty of this beach cove. There is a changing area, toilets and showers with mirrors and a place to wash hands. There are signs to wear mask and there is sanitiser to use freely. Once you get to the beach however, there are big stones and pebbles so be careful when walking, as you get closer to the sea, it turns to sand, not the softess but nice nontheless. The sun loungers are not that comfortable so be sure to bring comfy towels to lie on for extra cushioning. It is HOT down there and the sea is crystal clear with visible tiny fish so bring a snorkel kit if you like. Its best to get there early if you want a nice view and have unobstructed views of sea, best times is to get there b4 9am so you can get a nice spot without rushing. All in all a great relaxing beautiful beach, a must visit if you are in Kalkan.

Great Hamam place, very welcoming hosts. My wife and I went one evening and where really blown away. They organized transport for us from old city to Hamam and back and full treatment for both of us. They really took care of higiene and to make us feel relaxed. Place is mostly visited by locals but it is also welcoming to tourists, even tho they do not speak too much English. Baths are separated for men and women. Massages where great and really revitalizing.

If you are in Antalya, you dont want to miss this place. There is a fee to get in. Then you ride an elevator with view down to the beach They have the most comfortable beach beds and shades for every single bed. The place is amazingly clean and the staff are great. Truly amazing service. The food is great and they make it the way you want it. There is a live dj and they play real good music. The location is less windy then any place in antalya so the water is really calm. They also have a cold water little pool which can make a hot day into a healthy relaxing one. You dont want to miss this place.
