the hotel is comparatively remote which makes it extremely quiet. the staff were extremely helpful, and the reception spoke English, but tolerated our "broken" French. The room was compact but adequate for what we wanted and the breakfast room was wonderful with a panoramic window encompassing the surrounding countryside to the sea. The restaurant was in the bar, in a separate area, with a bar manager who was great, he had a little English, but we found, with a glass or two of wine we got on really well. The menu was good using local ingredients, and on the second night we had a "fruit de Mer" - we had to give 24 hours notice but the dish was fantastic, local oysters, whelks, cockles, langoustines, prawns and shrimps and topped off with a spider crab. This took over two hours to eat but we cleared most of it, but had to admit defeat overall! The house wine by the carafe was also good. Although it was a golf hotel, we didn't play there was no problem in just being a hotel user. The situation is handy for the Cote de Granite Rose and there is plenty to see just a short distance away. we went in mid April, and saw very few English cars, but found the Bretons extremely friendly as we always have. There are some great beaches not too far away, and some interesting walks. The information given by the hotel is extremely useful in planning a local excursions and we found they could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

Our beachside course was designed back in 1926. Today we can enjoy a Par 69 course that can be played all year round in all weathers. It is short and technical and offers exceptional views on the coast and the Ebihens Ilands. Visitors are also welcome at our restaurant le 19ème.
My wife and I along with our 11-year old grandaughter had a very nice lunch here. We were seated on the patio overlooking the golf course, the beach and the bay. The servcie was great even woth a c\samll golf outing just finishing up and the food was very good.
