I love visiting here. It is nice and cool over Summer, with plenty of shade on offer.. no dogs also so the lawns are pristine!

The gardens are laden with beautiful green shady European trees and rambling green lawns and is a great place to go on a hot day. As soon as you enter you can feel a cool drop in the temperature, because of the shade and greenness, giving instant relief. There's a lovely duck and fish pond with a walking bridge and kids love to feed the ducks. There's also a playground and plenty of room for children to play and run around. There's a lovely rotunda on the lawn area and a beautiful old water fountain along the path that rambles throughout the gardens. A great place to take the family.

The gardens with a lovely lake are the perfect place to stop and stretch, eat or rest while passing through Ararat. Or - like so many locals - you can walk or run round the lake a few times. There's a kids' playground, lovely little cafe and plenty of seating.

A beautiful garden to stroll around and savour. Quiet, green and lovely. A morning walk is highly recommended when the light filters through the trees.

Wonderful to revisit this small piece of botanical paradise in the shadows of the mighty Mt Sturgeon. Long walks around and over bridges spanning a series of small ‘lakes’. Stunning array of native and deciduous trees - some ancient red gums. Kangaroos grazing in the autumn evening light ... Look forward to see this place continue to grow.

What a great little adventure for the kids with little sculptures and game of find the bird. Was a little surprise to walk into coming back from Venus Baths.
