Wheeling is a city in Ohio and Marshall counties in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Located almost entirely in Ohio County, of which it is the county seat, it lies along the Ohio River in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Wheeling was originally a settlement in the British colony of Virginia and later an important city in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Wheeling was the first state capital of West Virginia. Oglebay offers beautiful scenery year round. There are 3 golf courses and a driving range. Winter features The Festival of Lights, skiing, and sledding. Wilson Lodge and several cabins can accommodate an individual or large groups. There are excellent restaurants within the park, and many others nearby. We live nearby and take advantage of many of the parks offerings.

The Wheeling Island Casino and racetrack was quite the experience I enjoyed myself so much I plan to go back again every weekend the people there or friendly kind and courteous very clean and neat and tidy the gaming is fun responsible and adequate with fair and fun winning,
