We are up for the weekend for London and made a last minute booking with activity centre. They were very accommodating. We did clay pigeon shooting and quad biking. It could not have been better fun. Money well spent in my opinion. The safety briefings were clear and well explained. Guidance all the way on each activity. I would highly recommend it.

The award winning Lakeland Climbing Centre boasts the tallest indoor climbing wall in the country offering sessions to suit all ages and abilities from 5 years+. A superb all weather family venue with a variety of activities to suit everyone, from experienced climbers to complete novices. The Lakeland Climbing Centre incorporates Kendal Wall, Kendal CrazyClimb and Skyline Indoor Aerial Adventure, the UK's first indoor Via Ferrata. Other facilities include a training room, The Tool Box, Kendal Wall Shop and Creamery Cafe with free wi-fi. Changing and shower facilities and free on site parking.
First off, I’m writing this review as a route climber to 6b standard. In terms of the basics... theres plenty of free parking, the staff are friendly, there’s a shop, small canteen, and changing facilities. The routes are long and varied. The real rock features make the climbing more realistic. There’s usually 5 auto belays and several routes where you can lead with your own draws. I’d say the overall difficulty level is higher then other climbing centres that I have been to. The big wall is pretty much inaccessible to anybody without at least 50m of rope and the skill to lead 6a and up on pumpy inverted routes. This isn’t me. Yet. I try to go whenever I’m in the area, avoiding busy times for the reason just mentioned. Recommend you do the same.

My objective is to inspire children to experiment with new ideas and encourage them to explore their own creativity. The sessions will accommodate up to 12 children.
