Ideal for surfers and windsurfers.
Great place to hang out for several hours just watching the huge waves and great surfers! We went here before heading to the airport for our flight home. Nice place to relax and fairly close to the airport. This beach gets crowded so parking can get tricky....head down to lower lot if needed, plenty of spots there (usually).

Phenomenal beach that has a lifeguard, bathrooms, outdoor showers, shade etc etc etc. A short walk brings you to "baby beach" which has a breakwater protecting you from the waves and where sea turtles play and frolic in the surf. Easy parking - wet water - beautiful views. Loved watching the planes flying in/out of OGG from the beach.

The Maui Crafts Guild is a collective of ceramists, woodworkers, print-makers, jewelers, textile artists, photographers, glass artists, basket weavers...and a few who defy classification. Work exhibited in the gallery is selected through a comprehensive jury process that ensures the highest quality and excellence in craftsmanship. Each artist must be a current full-time resident of Maui. The artisans transform everyday materials into creative results, allowing you to quite literally take a piece of Maui home with you! The gallery is staffed by guild members, so there is an artisan in residence every time you visit. Make sure to stop by and see us the next time you are in town! The gallery is open daily from 10 am -6 pm.
This gallery, like its sister shop in Makawao, offers excellent art works by local artisans in a variety of media. They are one of the few shops to offer authentic Ni'ihau native Hawaiian shell lei's. Just viewing these precious works and hearing the story behind them is well worth the visit. The artisans who work in the shop are friendly, knowledgeable and will take the time to share, show and explain all with NO pressure. Prices here are better than the "high end" area of Laihaina, Wailea or Kapalua

My favourite church in Maui. Beautiful stained glass windows adorn this church which is lovely. What I love most is the monument to Father Damien who contracted leprosy from the straw of a young boy. The monument is quite hard hitting with a before and after effect. Loved this place.

The stupa here is powerful. Blessed by HH Tenzin Gyatso, Dalai Lama. Nice to walk inside the stupa and spin the prayer wheel. The resident Lama here, Lama Gyeltsen is a brilliant teacher and role model. A true gem in Paia.
