Brown Brothers Milawa Cellar Door is the nerve centre of new ideas and experimentation within Brown Brothers winery and is the perfect environment for tasting new varieties and wine styles. We grow many varieties of grapes and have an experimental research winery, the Kindergarten, where we produce wines of high quality, but in quantities too small to make available for general release. These are released under the Cellar Door label and are available nowhere else. The range includes limited releases of new varietals, experimental batches and aged wines. Adjacent to the Cellar Door at Milawa is our restaurant where you can enjoy a la carte dishes created with local produce to complement Brown Brothers wines. We also have a relaxed food and wine in the Wine Bar.

whenever we are in Milawa we stop by Milawa mustards and get a few jars We were lucky this time as it was the first time that they had been open for 10 weeks. Really friendly service and great products mean that we will be back!

I live locally and took the opportunity last weekend to take family from The Netherlands to Walkabout Apiaries to check it out. We were welcomed with a smile and invited to take a 'Honey Journey'. The matriarch of Walkabout told us the story of each honey, the different regions hives are located and all sorts of interesting things I never knew about honey. There was a huge difference in the tastes and textures of the honeys. We also tasted some spiced mead which was nice. We all purchased a jar of honey and some homemade beeswax food wraps. I will definetly be purchasing honey from here rather than the supermarket from now on. Honey is also available to purchase in bulk. Well done to the family team at Walkabout Apiaries.

Wood Park Wines was established in 1989 by John Stokes and family. We have an enviable reputation for the production of award-winning hand crafted wines in a variety of styles - including sparkling, whites, reds and sweet/fortified wines - while utilising environmentally friendly, minimal chemical use production techniques. The Wood Park Cellar Door was created in 2002 at the Milawa Cheese precinct. It is here we welcome you to taste our range of cool climate inspired wines in a relaxed environment. Due to our dedication in producing excellent wines, our vineyard has for the past two years earned the enviable right to be classed as a 5 Star Rated Vineyard courtesy of James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion
This is one of the best wine tasting we have been to. Our excellent knowledgeable host, John, tempted us into some unfamiliar territory which was surprisingly good. Great relaxed atmosphere and reasonable cellar door prices. Thanks guys, very enjoyable!

Mostly, we make Gin. An idea that was born from an aversion to getting up and driving to work in the morning and an appreciation for the calming effects of a libation poured over ice in the evening time. And so, Hurdle Creek Still came to be on the family property in the King Valley in March 2016. All of our products are made and bottled onsite in The StillHouse. Our triple distilled base spirit is made from locally sourced grain using a traditional infusion mashing system which gives our gin a unique grain character. The juniper and a select blend of local and native botanicals - some of which are grown in our garden – are vapour infused into the spirit ensuing light, subtle flavours throughout our gins.
Friendly service and wonderful gin distilled from local ingredients- well worth a visit. Tasted a wide variety of gins, and good recommendations for mixers.

Very proudly a fully Australian owned, family business now in its second generation, David and Anne Brown started Milawa Cheese Company in 1988, and it is now run by their daughter Ceridwen Brown. They welcome you to the home of Milawa Cheese, housed in the historic butter factory of Milawa. It is always worth a visit to the Milawa Cheese Factory, as not only are they the home to the iconic Milawa Cheese, where you can purchase cheese or undertake a guided tasting, but also to other great local businesses. On-site you will find Wood Park Wines Cellar Door, The Wattle Tree Collection, Milawa Bread and Milawa Kitchen. Please note: it is no longer possible for this business to offer free cheese tastings since the introduction of COVID-safe health precautions. Tastings trays are available for purchase to takeaway.
Great multi-purpose establishment with cheese and wine tasting an onsite licensed bakery/cafe and a small gift shop. Friendly staff and left with a great little hamper to enjoy later.
