OK, so the Chippewa Candy Shop may NOT be recommended by your dentist, but it's just the place your sweet tooth needs. Select from a massive assortment of candies, chocolates, and coffee. Gazing upon jar after jar of sugary treats will make you feel like a kid (or at least an adult) in a candy store. They've got weigh-and-pay soft-serve ice cream, too!
We stopped after picking up a flier at our hotel, and are we glad we did! Many different candies, including some great dark chocolate and a wide variety of hard to find gummy bear flavors! Lady behind the counter was very nice and gave samples :)

It is an annual tradition in our family to visit the Christmas light display in Irvine park. It is divine - thousands and thousands of lights everywhere; old-timey cutout and painted scenes; carols piped throughout. You drive through the displays slowly, with your headlights turned off. Such a wonderful, seasonal treat. I thank all the volunteers who put it all together every year,; I notice new things every time we go. Very worth doing.

River Bend Winery & Distillery is a destination you don't want to miss if you are coming to Chippewa Falls. On the winery side, we offer free wine tasting. Once you've found your favorite(s), we offer wine by the glass or by the bottle for you to enjoy on our beautiful patio. On the distillery side, enjoy craft cocktails made from small batch spirits. We have something for everyone so stop by and see what everyone is raving about!
This was a great stop on our girls biking adventure. One side was wine tasting, the other spirits. Beautiful patio and view to have a cocktail or glass of wine!

Mission and Vision: The Chippewa Falls Museum of Industry and Technology promotes the industrial and technological partnerships of the Chippewa Community creating an atmosphere of discovery by: • Providing interactive educational experiences in technology and industry (past, present and future) • Demonstrating how things work • Sharing important technology and industry stories • Discovering life stories of local industry and technology leaders and employees
This nice local museum has exhibits that focus on Cray, Darley, Mason shoes and other community businesses. They are just off of the main street, in an old Mason Shoes building. There is also some interesting period maps to see Chippewa Falls through the years. Staff are friendly and open to any questions. They do have limited hours so check first and they have a suggested donation amount.

We had arranged a tour of the distilling and brewing facilities of this business and were given a guided oration around the plant by a knowledgeable friendly gentleman who I believe was the owner. I was amazed at all the different spirits and types of beers that came out of this local business. Our group made it a point to sample some of the products and were happy with what we found. It seemed like business is pretty good as there was always a line at the bar.
